A real joy to find this place. Great coffee, amazing cakes and a nice venue for an Al fresco lunch.

Very friendly and a good selection well prepared food. Consistently excellent. Now opens on Tuesdays as well. I strongly recommend the bacon & egg cobs.Parking: Fair amount of space in car park. Occasionally a field is also available and always some street parking.

Great freshly prepared food, atmosphere and friendly service. Coffee so much nicer than the usual chains. Well worth a visit.
I cycle here frequently from Warwickshire from for some food and it’s a nice place to visit. We called in on the way home from holiday and it’s completely dog unfriendly. You can’t sit inside and you can’t sit under the canopy and have to sit outside. I kind of understand not being able to sit inside with a small dog, I mean other places manage perfectly well, but I understand. Not being able to sit outside under the canopy when it’s completely empty is crazy. Apparently dogs are a trip hazard. I wouldn’t mind so much if it was mid summer and packed out, it’s autumn, two small groups in the cafe, nobody under the canopy and four groups squeezed under the green gazebo freezing their hands off. Someone said that it never used to be like this and that the ownership has changed, if that’s the case I’m am so happy for them that business is so good that 75% of their customers were sat in one corner outside with their food, drinks and hands going cold in the wind and complaining about the management. Great place to cycle to, completely hopeless if you have a dog, sod ‘em, not going again on my bike. I’ll go to the Kingfisher Lodge instead. I expect a reply from the management will be Basil Fawlty-esque telling me how wrong I am, health and safety and I’m welcome to never darken their doors again. So what. 100/ of other places are more accommodating, and do better coffee.
