Went in earlier this week, I was served by a tall, blonde ish boy probably around mid 20s, who was polite while ordering but sharply turned while going to get my food. He was harsh, rude and disrespectful. He rolled his eyes when I asked to scan my app and sigh when I then asked to pay card, saying I “could have told him first rather than waisting his time” won’t be returning and don’t recommend.

I enjoy the food here and visit from time to time but today was not a good experience. Only one person behind the counter rushing to fulfill delivery orders rather than prioritising on customers already waiting to be served and after standing around for a few minutes was then told by the only person working there would be a minimum 5 minute wait.I usually don’t mind waiting especially when it’s busy but I don’t understand why at one of the busiest hour (School time) time there is only one person supposedly lone working trying to do 2 jobs at once.I left because I was unfortunately in a rush at the time but I now know not to visit at peak times.

Nice coffee and sausage roll. Inside seating was dirty. Staff friendly enough.

Absolutely disgraceful, only one person on counter when people are out the door waiting. A manager that wanders round aimlessly when busy. People walking out. And just eat ect prioritised over customers waiting. Needs addressing quickly. Will never visit again on that showing and this has been quite a few times now.

I don't understand why you only have one person on when it's busy times, like 9am when everyone is coming in from school run, no apology for the waiting time. Iv worked in kitchens and don't understand why your business is run at a snails pace.

Been there three times this week for coffee .No pan chocolate ready or croissants at 6:20 in the morning. If you are going to open at 6 am then you should make sure all your breakfast items are ready. My usual Gregg's is on Bracebridge road in bilbrough. Never a problem there.

Waited forever to be served even though I was the only customer at 11:35, then the young worker slowly picked up my cheese and onion pasty and slowly put it in the bag. I am a very tolerant person but I just wanted to laugh at her obvious slowness, with her very gloomy look but she quickly perked up for the customer behind me. Wonder if it was racial or if I was her first customer for her shift. I'll just wait until I get to Bulwell next time

We were collecting TGTG while our son wanted to get a buttered croissant and a donut. A beautiful young blonde that was giving us the magic bag added the croissant and the donut for free! Apologies I didn't get her name, but the world definitely needs more kind people like her! ❤️ Food was delicious, as always!P.s management, if you recognise the person I am talking about (late shift on 18/05/23) please consider giving this lady a pay rise! She definitely deserves it as she won customers for life!
