Fantastic place. I regularly eat here or just popi n for a coffee. Fresh quiche made while you wait (about 15 minutes). Worth the wait. The cakes are delicious and large slices (but youcan have a ½ slice). I took my friend the other week and she really enjoyed it - so much so that she is going again. Never had bad service. Staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Everything is home made and fresh. There is a free carpark opposite for about 10 cars and 2 disabled spaces k3 hour parking). There are also 22 other car parks in Kimberley - one for 3 hours and one is free for an hour and the £1 till 6.00pm. Would highly recommend.

On walking into the cafe, we asked if there were room for 5 and they told us about an hour wait, in which we were more than happy to wait, we asked if were were OK to have afternoon teas and were told yes this was fine. After waiting an hour and a half we had to flagged someone down to see if we could order..the lady came over to take our order to be told..No scones left...so we asked if ok to order without a scone..to be told yest that's absolutely fine..so said can we order 4 afternoon teas.To be then told we have no soup (not mentioned when told no scones)So said can we have the mini afternoon tea..and was told yes thats fine, but we need one that has a pinini instead of bread..to be told it will cost us more and be the same price and the full afternoon tea with no scone or soup! With no apology for telling us they could cater for us when we walked in and leaving us waiting for an hour and a half and not popping over to let us know they were out of food. And then made us pay full price for the 5 drinks we had.Worst experience we've ever had.Safe to say we will never go back.Such a waste of our time and absolutely starving now..and 2 of us were kids..not impressed.

This is a great little place to have a homemade lunch or coffee and cake. Advisable to book if you want their afternoon tea as they get extremely busy. Nothing to much trouble for the attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Great tearoom, we called in off motorway as we dislike service stations and what a find. Amazing lunch with great choice, and took cakes away which are devine. Good job I don’t live nearer as I wouldn’t be able to keep away.

Please beware of buying vouchers - brought vouchers, since they have changed hands but new owners do not accept them!! When calling spoken to a very rude person and even put phone down on me!!! Great customer service not!!

Just wonderful ! (And excellent value for money compared to other places in Nottingham) perfect mix of sour and sweet, balance of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Fun atmosphere and great service. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

We popped in 12/11/22 Absolutely fabulous!! Don’t miss out on something quirky & delicious. I’ve not been here for about 6 years, it didn’t blow me away last time but was a quirky place to eat so we popped in. New owners, only recently & it did blow my mind. I couldn’t find a fault. Attentive staff, even with a full house & busy party out the back. Everything we ate was fantastic, I’ve left full, well fed with quality ingredients. We had soup, a main each & cake with lots of tea (unlimited) and was £23!! Absolutely wonderful. So cheap! So so worth a visit if you are near. Spoilt for choice with the cakes which is unfortunately my weakness. They have a cabinet with lots of little quirky things such as soap, knitted items & jewellery for sale which is ideal for an alternative gift. I’ll definitely return & wish the new owners the best of luck.
