Good Chippy although a bit expensive, in my opinion. Quality food and nicely cooked too. There is a delivery option, but at £4.50 its a bit much if you're fairly close, we're about 3 mins by car so I won't pay for delivery.

Ordered many times over the years from here and never had any issues. This time the order had what appear to be long dog hairs throughout the majority of the food. Wasn't just the odd one neither, there was quite a few. Was told they'd replace the whole order and fetch the food back but unfortunately we had already binned the food. Then we was told we would receive a full refund as an apology and I thought that was fair enough. Had to ring back a few hours later and eventually they sent a driver out with £10, so about 1/3 of the order cost and was told by the driver that instead they were just refunding for the items that we mentioned had dog hair in. LOL. So you send inadequate food, promise a full refund then change your mind and send a tenner as an apology? Don't you worry, you keep that extra money you saved out the refund and we won't ever order food from you again. Absolutely shocking.

fish n chips was nice but expensive, there was NO price list so was shocked when the lady said £20 I ordered 3 mini fish n chips 1 with curry, when I questioned the price she said its because of BREXIT all the prices have gone up, funny how I went to matlock last week and got a very nice fish, chips ,curry for £4.95, safe to say its the last time I'll be going to this place .

Haddock, chips n peas mix, plus mint sauce - you can't go wrong. Very good, and the delivery personnel have been excellent in my experience.

food quality bad no information fish and chips got no chips and got no information if it's served with or without biggest mistake second think donner meat is over salted not fresh to make it soft there use oils fat and butter (food box bottom leaked oil from kebab!) all Family poisoned with food there hygiene rating has been bought for shore not fresh not cooked properly

Called in as I was passing. Staff very helpful and friendly. I had chicken and chips very nice. Though the chips were a little too thick for my liking they were well cooked and very nice. It's just my personal preference I like crispy chips. But will call again.

To call this food bad would be an understatement the chips were green and hard and warm at best the customer service was laughable I felt I was being cut looks the entire time and wasn’t welcome and the place looked grubby as can be never againMcDonalds is better value for money your prices are low like your quality of food enjoy going out of business i urge everyone to avoid this place at all costs never felt so ill after eating out

We ordered kebabs last night. 2 donner and one chicken. My mum had the chicken one and I had a few bites, myself and her have been violently sick, my mum since 11:30 last night and myself from 7am this morning. Every 30 mins and still being sick now, we are certain this has come from the chicken kebab. We also waited over an hour for our order to be delivered, I wouldn't normally ever put a company down but we have been so poorly this needs to be put out there. I'm just so grateful we fed the kids before and only the adults have kebabs. I have not had food poisoning this bad for a very long time

WOODHOUSE CHIPPY trading as GICHOS, They have now deleted their rude reply, business suicide.I don't think I have EVER received such appalling customer service as I have from your girl tonight. Very rude, kept talking over me when I questioned why my order had been acknowledged, accepted then rejected and invited to call the shop. The first attempt was ignored so I left a message to call me back. Nothing. I tried again and got a response and apparently they didn't have any ingredients to fulfill the order that they had acknowledged and accepted. I was then faced with a rude girl that kept talking over me, despite me repeatedly saying "may I speak please" then said what she had to then hung up on me. You reputation is ruined.
