I love Birds Bakery. Staff are so welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Always helpful. I've used for years. Bread and cakes like no other. Never disappointed. Can always order ahead then collect. Definitely worth a visit if you've not been before.

Recently opened but the service is so poor Waited 7 minutes while only two staff served one customer I even sat down this continued for further ten minutes ,taking 20 minutes to get served I complained why has is took 20 mins when there is only two customers They just looked at each other that it no big deal I for one won’t be going back to such a poorly run bakery

Bacon sarnis there are everything you would want, nice soft bread and the bacon is lovely and well done and the fat nice and crozzled. Just one thing though, would it not be possible to do them in a larger size?Or if not a larger size then have an extra slice of bacon at an additional cost? I asked for an extra slice of bacon the other day and was told by the lady behind the counter they're not allowed to. I dont understand the reasoning behind this, it seems balmy to me.

Not sure why I should write a quick 3/5 review....But I wanted to say the staff seem (no, ARE) covid crazy. I will not shop at this Birds' again. Nov 2021. If you want a quick, smooth transaction - look elsewhere.

Just popped in for some cakes for the grandkids, and have to say, they were very nice indeed. I would recommend to anyone to give them a try....Very Tummy Yummy....

I've always bought my bread from birds mansfield but won't be returning there anymore after the gentleman serving was very rude! This used to be a lovely shop the girls working there always made me smile and were very polite but the atmosphere has really changed who ever the new gentleman is working there he needs to learn some manners or get anger training. I will be buying from the other bakery down the road from now on.
Well run shop under Covid19 rules - social distancing applied, masks etc. Pre-packaged goods and card payments preferred. Lovely selection of bread cobs and lovely sausage rolls. Highly recommended.
