Been for Mother’s Day lunch thought I would try again as had new chef well I won’t be going for food again! Cold and tasteless service not very good either I did tell the lady who asked if everything was ok but she said she would go and speak to someone but never got back to us!

Came for my own surprise 30th birthday party. From what I hear, the staff were very attentive in organising the event! Venue was fantastic and atmosphere was great. Will definitely be returning!

Lovely owners. Food was delicious. I rated 4 stars overall because the drinks are a bit expensive in my opinion. A round a spoons costs us approx £12. In comparison, the same round here costs nearly £25. However, that said, we will go back. This place is dog friendly which is fantastic for us and makes a nice trip out with our girlies.Kid-friendliness: Has a small outdoor play area at the back.

I would give 0 stars if I could! Shocking service, scruffy staff and dirty tables, food mediocre after an hour's wait will NEVER return! Also, full of chavs!!!

Been coming to the Black Bull for 2 weeks now, and i must say the food is a 10 out of 10 for me. The Fish and chips is a must have on the menu followed by a side of beer battered onion rings. The staff are very welcoming, be coming in more often. There is something for everyone on menu.
Absolute Joke AVOID! I was in such a good mood until I came here and you said the words I'm the problem whenever something kicks off!! Literally came in for a pint the first time in actual months and some midget bloke was kicking off and the landlord had the cheek to say it was my fault and said trouble follows me! All I was doing was having a fag minding my own business but you clearly didn't want to listen to me and can 100% confirm everyone out there would tell you I had nothing to do with it we were all trying to stop the midget bloke from fighting basically doing your job!! Clearly you can't handle running the pub if you get angry at customers that have done nothing wrong!

Used to be a regular but the landlord is very unwelcoming. First time in months I have been in and I was accused of starting a fight I had no involvement with last night we were trying to prevent the fight whilst he was inside minding his own business! You really need to get your facts right before accusing someone of being the problem. I don't think you are cut out to be running a pub. Everyone avoid this place their food is microwaved anyway!

Fantastic place for our daughters and fiancee engagement party. Good service, great prices for drinks and lovely staff. A lovely night was had by everyone. They sorted a get DJ out for us which I would recommend, we was able to bring our own food, and we dropped off the decorations in the afternoon which they arranged beautifully. Thank you to all staff @ Black Bull..
