“Absolutely fabulous every time we go, the food is delicious and the pub spotless, the menu is extensive but everything is home made and cooked fresh on ordering. Had some lovely lunches then last night we went to celebrate my father in law and daughter’s birthdays, fourteen of us preordered our food and every item was perfect, everyone ate everything and loved it. I almost don’t want to tell anyone how great this family run pub is so we can always get a table!”

“What a find, a truly fantastic place. I was lucky to be staying 2 mins walk from away whilst working in Mansfield so managed to try a few meals, nothing disappointed everything was excellent especially the homemade pies and a great range of beers to choose from. The staff are excellent and friendly and the locals make you feel so welcome. I really can't recommend this pub enough. What a gem.”

“We came here to try the Sunday dinner as it will soon be our local, the food was fantastic, I had the pork belly and my wife had the beef, both cooked to perfection, and the selection of veg was great (no leeks thank god) the gravy was awesome, just needed a slice of bread to mop it all up! The kids roast was spot on as well! For dessert had the burnt basque cheesecake, the sticky prune pudding and the chocolate cake, all were amazing, we will be back to try the rest of the menu in the future ??”

“Came last night for the Tainted Love 80s night. Absolutely brilliant. Lots of 80s classics played, the atmosphere was buzzing, everyone was friendly and having a great time. The bar staff was attentive. The artist on stage had a great voice and really got the vibe going. Was great to see a mix of different ages too. Can't wait for the next one.”
