Always find the staff including landlord and land lady very friendly, attentive and willing to accommodate. We will definitely be revisiting as a couple and as a group.”

We had Emma as our server, and she showed interest in us & made us feel welcome. The food we ordered came out quick & hot. Good pub grub at a reasonable price. We will be visiting again.”
Pubs • “This is, without doubt, a Brilliant Pub. If you're local you will already know how good it is, if not, then rest assure that this pub is a very warm,clean and welcoming place indeed. Great selection of beers with Brilliant facilities for a family or just a couple of workers calling in. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating at the rear, with a clean and well kept fun area for the kids when the weather is good. William lV is loving known locally as the 'Top House' and is certainly a Top Pub. A traditional two sided style set up venue with hot meals available and even a nice sheltered area for the Old Smokers, lol. The staff are exceptional and very polite. This is a certainly a great pub/venue that sets the standard.”

“Would like to say a massive thank you to Sam & Stuart and their family for hosting the best surprise party for a 30th birthday! All the buffet was proper homemade food and was fresh and so tasty (also has the best homemade scotch eggs & mini quiches ever!!)All the staff were amazing and worked so hard to accommodate us all. Bar service was quick even though there was a lot of people to get through! Sam and everyone made an amazing effort to make sure the night went exactly the way wanted even helping to put all the decorations up a couple of hours earlier. Couldn’t of wished for better hospitality, loved every minute so thank you so much guys! Would recommend to anyone wanting to book a party :)”
