First time tonight with the new owners, I was on my own (a female) they made me feel welcome as well as the regulars did. Bad experience with the guy behind the bar a while ago he was rude and made me not wanna come back. However tonight Gina who served me tonight was nice, helpful and made me feel welcome all the way through my time there. Will come back deffo even though I had a bad experience

New managers, more popular with younger crowd. Just doing some work in the back bar. Let's wait and see. So far, same old, same old

The landlady and landlord that were here 2 weeks ago were lovely but I think they've left now which is a shame.

Amazing food! Beer was fresh! The location is perfect if you want to go for a dog walk along the Trent before a few drinks and some food. The garden looks out to a cricket ground. Will be going back soon.

A pub from yesteryear, never really visited til recent times. A local of my grandma and grandad, but it was alot different then. The traditional pub as been opened up into more of a open bar affair. Doesn't look too bad and good atmosphere, especially when the disco is on. Seems like everybody's enjoying themselves, what more do you want. A bit out of town for most, but definitely recommended if your passing, just have a drink and mix with the locals.
