First time & last time.1. No credit cards accepted.. Cash only (HMRC comes to mind)2. I had £15 in cash but was refused 50p’s 20p’s & additional £1 coins only to be told they could only accept 5x £1 coins..Notes were accepted3. Charged 10p for a fork4. Charged 30p for a flimsy white plastic bag for my fish chips, battered sausage & curry sauce.5. Fish… The batter was smooth & oozing with grease / oil..Not fit for consumption.6. Chips were dark brown & soggy.. Not fit for consumption.7. Battered Sausage was ok8. Curry Sauce was okOverall a complete waste of money. I felt physically sick after a few mouthfuls of fish & chips.. before binning them..I certainly will not be going back apart from to demand a refund & an explanation as to how these people are allowed to sell such poor food.Not Impressed at all.

I have been here 3 times now, first time I had a fishcake cob, second time a doner cob (which was absolutely massive) and today I've had pie, chips and peas. Never had a problem with any of the food I've ordered and cheaper than some other chippys.Ignore the negative reviews, there's always pleasant staff working here and always nice, hot, tasty food. Some people are just expecting High end London restaurant food on a good old fashioned chip shop budget. Ignore them, this is a good chippy and I'll definitely be back ?

the food was hot warm and very tasty we had 2 kebabs both freshly cut from the spit was very filling the food was only £13.30 which i think is a great value for the ammount you get andy is a great owner with a great personalty his other staff memebers are great warm and welcoming awsell keep up the good work
