Visited here last week whilst on holiday with the family in the local area. Friendly, cosy pub serving Samuel Smith beer at rock bottom prices. The Mild @ £1.34 a pint you can't afford not to! It is what it is and I loved it for this! Respect the "no phone policy" and you will enjoy it more! The Landlord & Lady were extremely friendly and welcoming of our young family, engaging in conversation with our 6 & 10 year olds.100% we will return.Thank you!
It's a great pub for meeting up with friends. Doesn't do food, no music. Drinking, talking pub. They do have pool and darts. It hasn't changed at all but it's still a good place to meet your mates and catch up.
