“I visit Nottingham once a year for an event and I always look forward to buying noodles from this restaurant. It’s such a hidden gem - simple, delicious and authentic. I’m vegetarian so options are limited for me but the sesame and scallion noodles are just divine.”

“You might be able to find a Chinese a little cheaper, but Magic Wok is by far the best in the local area”

“Amazing food and super friendly staff. This is more of a small laid back eatery than posh restaurant but the made-fresh authentic cooking is fantastic. Shame we were in a rush else would have ordered a second course, even though the portions were huge and filling ?”

“The chicken chow main was amazing just how I like it. Thick chicken pieces long Noddles . The prawn crackers amazing! Not them thin ones. Proper thick and absolutely delicious! Love it and definitely will be going again. Thank you”

“We went for the Sunday buffet at my daughters request. Probably will the last time to be honest. The staff are lovely, the food is fairly limited but its hot, fresh and tasty but nothing special. They class anyone over 10 years old as an adult so at £17.50 for an adult a basic lunchtime buffet for a family of 4 (1 13year old & 1 15 year old) gets quite pricey.”

“I've been going to Springwater for years as they're all you can eat buffet is the perfect family treat but I've noticed that the food quality is wavering a little...The restaurant still retains that old style feel with linen table clothes and huge tables for big family events and you can tell when you walk inside there's always a celebration taking place. Our group have been attending at least once a year for about 10yrs now and recently we've noticed the quality of the meat isn't what it used to be.I can't really argue for the price of £25 per head but we rarely get to the main courses as we like to fill on starters. The starters have more vegetarian options and variation so they're our staple.Soft drinks are £4.80 for a coke and whilst I appreciate they make their money on drinks, it's a huge price for one soft drink!I'd still recommend this place for large family events but the price isn't looking as attractive as it used to and that's a shame.”

“It was a huge pleasure to be back in the area - and to visit this restaurant for the first time since 2017.Nothing had changed. The food was gorgeous. The portions enormous. The prices reasonable. They have a small, simple eat in area but mainly do take-away. I've done both but got take-away this time: 1 x beef chow mein + 1 x sweet & sour chicken + 2 x egg fried rice = £20.”
