Many friends recommended the excellent Malaysian and Asian cuisine here, so I came specially to try it out.The first time we came, initially, I wanted to order Hainanese chicken rice, but unfortunately, it was sold out due to its popularity. In the end, I ordered a bowl of seafood laksa soup with ho fan and seafood tom yum soup with rice noodle. The result was pleasantly surprising as the seafood portion was generous, and the large prawns were delicious and large. The laksa soup had an outstanding flavor. The quality of the food was satisfying and reminiscent of the taste I had in Malaysia, leaving a lasting impression. The restaurant's interior decoration was simple and lacked Malaysian characteristics, but it was still clean and tidy.We come here secone time today, we tried Hainanese chicken rice, roasted duck soup noodles, Sushi planet and Braised beef brisket rice. All the food was fantastic, with generous portions that left us feeling satisfied. The service today was excellent and worth recommending.

First Full English breakfast of our family trip and this place didn't disappoint. A Wonderful family run cafe near the town centre. Simple menu with a VERY cheap price tag. Plenty of space for our kiddies and the constant stream of locals is a sure thing this is a good spot. Would highly recommend and the Mighty full English breakfast was so delicious with a fresh coffee thrown in as well. Thanks for a great start to our day and leaving with full bellies.

Absolutely worth it! Best restaurant I've ever been too, I love sushi, but the kids hate it, but here they do everything, kids got what they wanted, I got what I wanted! Cannot complain about the food either all portions were more than enough, the price was better than I expected and the drinks were better than Starbucks! Definitely recommend

Really pleasantly surprised, a group of us lucked out and visited here when the place we were planning on eating at was closed.Lots to choose from, each of the five of us had something different - Malaysia, Japanese, Chinese, Thai - and every one of our meals was fantastic.Waiter was great at Offering suggestions for an indecisive member of our group.I had the seafood laksa which was great. Tasted fresh, was a generous portion & tasted just like the Laksa I’ve had in Singapore.Chatting to some of the friendly staff afterwards it appears that the place has only recently reopened under new management. We all really enjoyed our meals, really reasonably priced, can’t recommend it enough.

It's a traditional British community cafe with an added Asian menu. They can cater for just about any diet and are super friendly. The food itself is tasty and reasonably priced. Call me old fashioned but I particularly enjoyed the bubble&squeak ?Dietary restrictions: They have four friers and can cater for gf, halal, vegan, lactose free etc etc.

One of the very first restaurants that serves Malaysian cuisines as I known of. The food is really authentic and tasty. The staffs are all friendly. The only drawback might be it location. The area is kinda distant and not at all hustle and bustle.

Ours visit here base on social media news , under new management with one of the famous Asian chef in the town stand in the kitchen .Large dining hall, good servicing staff .Those Malaysian dishes all in high cooking standards, sorry for no photo to show , because can’t wait ,straight eating while it served on table .We order extra a Sushi set as desserts, love it too .Highly recommended and sure will return.

GB Cafe offering authentic tasty Far East cuisines to Full English breakfast. Prices are very reasonable but no corners cut on quality. So good, that after having had a meal there, I ordered 2 more meals to take home with me. Thank you Lin for your excellent service, will be back soon....with friends.

There is a new owner. Very friendly but more than anything else the food is good. We were 4. 2 Turkish breakfast. 1 ham and cheese toastie and I had beef chow fun. There is a separate Chinese menu. Everyone happy. The Ho fun had the “wok hei”. This is my measurement whether the food is authentic or not. ?? They let us taste the roast pork (cha siew) and the roast pork belly. It was amazingly delicious . Coffee is perfect. They have a new good machine. They are in the process of transitioning. I have never been here but my niece who lives here took us. They now have Cantonese food and the sushi bar is being built. If I ever come back to Nottingham, I will definitely eat here again!
