Had a really tasty homecooked roast dinner today - you could tell it was cooked fresh in the pub kitchen.Nice mix of games available too.Shame I live too far up M1 to make it my local!

The staff at the limekiln was extremely helpful. Right from the reception to the billing, everything went very smoothly. In particular a server named Kashai was immensely patient and took the time to explain everything i was unsure about to me. I would be happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Called in for a quick one while we were passing by. The one thing that spoiled the experience was the amount of people using a lot of bad language. I can't understand why the staff don't tell the customers to tone it down.Good service though from the friendly lady behind the bar.

I think Marstons need to look at pricing, I used to use the Lime kiln, it had a good atmosphere and plenty of custom however after 2 price rises (1 being 50p in one hit) I can't justify visiting anymore and I'm quite sure a lot of other lost customers feel the same. It's a shame, it used to be a good venue.I now use Wetherspoons, great atmosphere, and for example a pint of Stella is £3.17 (mondays). You need to, but won't, adjust your pricing accordingly.
