Called in today for a coffee and one of my party ordered food. Service was quick and friendly. The flat white was really nice - good quality blend of coffee and the food was really tasty as well. The staff were extremely friendly and cheerful even though it was nearly closing time and they must have been tired after a busy Saturday.The only thing that disappointed was the interior decor. Very plain and uninspiring, many of the seats were split and needed replacing and the walls were quite stark. When you see the sign and the cakes, you’re reminded of the opulent cafes of France and the decor needs to deliver this expectation when you walk in. It needs an interior designer to come in and concentrate on the set design.It’s a shame when you’ve clearly got excellent staff who care about their customers being let down by the bigger company who can’t see what it needs to be. The product is good, the staff are great, it wouldn’t take much to update the decor to give the customer a more memorable experience.

I had been given a voucher for afternoon tea. At first I was dubious the place is very tired some seats are completely torn. The staff were great so much energy the food was delicious. Sandwiches fresh and tasty. Please re furbished then it will be 5 stars all the way. 4 for atmosphere as I think more cosy spaces would be nicer than the canteen feeling.Vegetarian options: We had vegetarian on our afternoon tea as I don't really like salmon. Don't really know about the main menu

To be honest the worst customer service I have ever had , I was going to complain to management, however I didn't want to to spoil a family day .Such a poor service from a short male worker for a take away. I am reporting this person to head office.

Had an afternoon tea, food was ok, nothing to shout home about. The premises was looking a bit dated. the majority of the vinyl seating was torn/well worn out. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Overall a little disappointed.

Although the coffee and some of the cakes are really delicious, the staff and atmosphere in the place is an true horror :(I've been there couple of times, the story repeats over and over again. They don't smile, mix the orders, rushing you.Even though they have a large space and many seat which should be available they will separate half of the room and won't allow you to enter. I came there with my 2 friends, 1 table for 3 was available, 1 table for 2, we wanted to choose a table for three but we've been shout at that this table is dirty and we cannot sit here. Instead of suggest that we can wait a minute so they can prepare it for us the guy hurry us up away from the table. Half of the room was empty but the you couldn't sit there cause again, they closed off the half of the room, separated with chairs. So we left... They had just couple of people inside with plenty of room but we had to leave because they decided so. There was 1,5hr until their closing time. No logic and terrible way to lead a business. Anyway it was my last time there. My friends won't visit again, too.
