The scones and hot chocolate were lovely, the seating next to the windows overlooking the lake was scenic, but who I assume was the manager was very impudent and aggressive. We paid for food there, yet because we were students, he basically kicked us out after being there for less than an hour! We saw that he specifically targeted other students too, telling them they had to give up their seats even though it wasn't a particularly busy time. His poor behaviour is a shame because the other staff were very hospitable.

Awful customer service. They where very argumentive when they got an hot drink wrong. A chai latte has no coffee in it a dirty chai does. It's not that difficult.

The place is lovely at Lakeside which have wonderful events and exhibitions. However the cafe staff ruin your experience because they are often rude and impatient. I love lakeside but the cafe itself could improve the quality of the food and the

Try the vanilla scones. Worth a visit for that alone.

Passing off watery coffee as 200° coffee, and charging premium prices for it. Didn't get a proper coffee cup and the coffee isn't even made with a batista machine, not impressed to be honest.

Hi. Went for a walk at high fields today and stopped at the cafè for our normal latte and scone with cream and jam.Mmmmm until we tooled into it. The jam has changed into a paper pot so spooned out of a jar. Not the same taste or quality as the old small jars and to be honest ruined the experience. The cafe has been revamped and it looks fantastic. Please bring the little jars back.

Free parking and green space to suit all ages. We had a coffee and a cake over looking the boating lake. Service was very efficient and drinks and food offering extensive. I may be slightly biased as the gluten free choice was impressive.

University café that hits all the right spots. It's a little hectic, even on Sundays, but as a uni café, you can't really expect otherwise. I highly recommend the scones with clotted cream and jam. A delight that goes with any hot drink! (You can also get sandwiches and bagels if you don't like scones)
