One of several really good locals we now have to choose from, this is generally our end of the night choice, great atmosphere, good range of ales, ciders and whiskeys. Comfortable and relaxing venue, it's great to have locals of this quality.

Super pub boasting nearly 20 hand pull beers which are reasonably priced. A lovely pub, which is Arnold's oldest pub, has some nice items from the now closed Home Brewery on display. No parking at the pub but free 2 hour car parking a short walk away. Buttermuch 5.5% is a nice Butterscotch Ale. A sweet and smooth dark ale which shouldn't work on paper but definitely does on taste!

What a pub! Fantastic selection of real ales, all unique and reasonably priced, great clientele, nice beer garden and lovely staff. Whenever I arrive in Nottingham, this is the first stop.

One of the best pubs in Nottingham, in the outlying areas of Arnold an absolute gem. Couple of main rooms, bar with a snug and a separate lounge, with covered external seating. Really good real ale from their own brewery as well as the usual spirits etc. Quite quiet and civilised, dog friendly on the bar side.I first posted this review four years ago, one of the very few I can confirm has only improved,as it now larger, both inside and out, otherwise as above.

The mango cider is the best drink I've ever had, other ciders aren't too shabby too. Absolutely love this place, extremely friendly staff too.
