This was my first trip to a game cafe, and it was I think exactly how they should be. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff friendly and accommodating. Dozens and dozens of choices, from 15 minute two players to multi day expansive games. Tournaments and competitions run throughout the year. I look forward to returning here.

Great place to play some games and have snacks and drinks. Bring your own games or play from a good selection of theirs.Proper gaming tables. Vegan friendly.

Nice gaming board cafe, unfortunately the food isn’t good as they taste quite bland. However on their discord. Not very friendly as some aren’t quite unpleasant. And spamming to promote their content needs to be on enable. With selling TGC is expensive

Great place to hang out with friends the employees are friendly and welcoming the the food is all vegan which is a little bit disappointing but there is always something to choose from also would like a little bit more variety in sugar free drinks for those who are

Cheap and good vegan food, a wealth of great games to play and stuff to buy.(The only thing I can knock them on: the kitchen always seems to be closing early due to lack of staff)

Only giving it 4 stars because they really need to sort out some (themed?) curtains/blinds for most of the windows (upstairs) to stop the place feeling so cold in the autumn (staff unwilling to turn the heating on); most people wearing multiple layers nowadays - some wearing exactly what they would wear outside!(Truthful) Edit when seeing The Dice Cup's prompt response:I asked a member of staff if it was possible to put the heating on and the staff member said the Dice cup was cold due to the many exposed windows (hence my suggestion of curtains/blinds) - the staff not asking around to see if any other customers wanted the heating on (just stating firmly the heating would not be on this time of the year).I understand heating costs more than ever nowadays (and I am eco-concious) hence the curtains/blinds suggestion too .

Spent the day here for only £6 each! Thoroughly enjoyed trying out new games that I hadn't played before. Some games were damaged or had pieces missing however I guess that happens when so many people are coming in and out playing different games. Food was average but wasn't expecting anything amazing as you go for the games not the food. It was good enough for a snack while you're playing some games. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming on our first visit. Looking forward to going again!Dietary restrictions: All vegan! Great idea, one of the only places I know that does this.Kid-friendliness: Great place for a family outing!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to the second floor and toilet is disabled friendly.

Great place, one of a kind. Nice, chill, laid back atmosphere. Decent food, especially for primary vegan options. Customer service can often fluctuate from pretty good by someone who's passionate about their job alongside the games, to pretty poor by, I'm not too sure ok how else to say it, but corporate vibes, emotionless, tired, just wants to get paid, do the bare minimum, gets treated poorly. I can get it in a fitting scenario but to see such a contrast between the employees is interesting to say the least/for lack of a better term. It's great it every aspect but is slightly let down by the customer service, i guess is a simple way to put it. Although, this shouldn't demotivate you from trying this place out for yourselves as it is still pretty subjective, as some people may prefer the corporate, chill, minimalistic service.

Absolutely delightful space with fantastic staff. Been here a few times with friends to play boardgames. They have a good selection and the price per person to play is very reasonable at £6pp without a time limit. They are also fully vegan with a good selection of snack and hot food. The Nachos are excellent.Parking: The Victoria centre has a couple of parking garages just behind the building. Just a couple of minutes walk.

some games are old, missing pieces and falling apartfound several hairs in different items of food- food was fairly cheap and tasted good, except from the pizza. garlic bread was tasteless.employees were kind and friendly, however not great customer service- took them literally 4 hours to clear up our plates from our table and took 30 mins for a latte.atmosphere is great, a great selection of games but missing some great ones like articulate, logo board game, linkee etc.good entry price.

Very very friendly staff and the atmosphere is lovely. Just a great place to meet up with your friends and play whatever games you want. Staff are helpful and accommodating and they have a lot of activities on offer if you don't bring your own games. Prices are very reasonable and food and drink is nice too.

Love this place, we came on Saturday for a gaming meetup and enjoyed our stay in the store. We stayed for a few hours and the coffee was amazing. I recommend the latte with coconut milk. Cheap single pokemon cards at 10p each and giving away free energy cards this is a kids

Love to see it's fully vegan. Amazing staff, generous prizing for TCG tournaments is amazing. Fantastic board game selection and plenty of space for wheelchair users.Dietary restrictions: Fully veganWheelchair accessibility: Disabled toilet, ramps up to the, parking behind the store with drop down curves. I pushed my friend in a manual chair but it was a bit tough going up the hill back to the car park.
