I asked for cod and chips but was offered haddock and chips instead, obviously because that's what was already cooked and waiting to be sold. I agreed, as was asked on the spot but the fish wasn't great and the batter was soggy. Wish I just went stuck with ordering cod and refused the haddock when offered. I usually get my kebabs from here and they are really good, so will just stick with that next time. Customer service is always great and very friendly people l.

The chips were good, the peas were good! But the fish was excellent! I’ve used this chippy before & it was okay! With it being Good Friday I thought I’d give it a go again! The fish was white as snow & cooked to perfection, served with a lovely smile!! Safe to say I will recommend to friends & family & going back myself!

This is by far the best chippy in the area. The fish & chips are always freshly fried and absolutely delicious. Fish are generously large and chunky. The batter is golden, crispy and not oily. The mixed kebab meat again is definitely the best we've experienced locally, not overly salty nor swimming in grease, and made extra tasty by their homemade in-house red cabbage salad and chilli sauce. Prices are competitive, the staff are fríendly and always welcome you with a smile. Finally, it has to be noted that this chippy is super clean... they clearly clean thoroughly and often.
