An amazing place to go for breakfast. The food is fantastic and not over priced. The staff are super, super friendly. Another best bit is on the way out you can pick up your little naughty sweet pic n mix for that movies sofa cozy day. Thank you and we will see you soon ?

My family and I were very disappointed with this cafe. We got inside the cafe and had a look through the sweets and could see that both Both staff were serving customers and preparing their breakfast so me and my partner was more than happy to As we stood there for over 5 minutes without not one bit of acknowledgement that we was even in the shop The woman behind the counter looked at me with an Aggressive look and said " Are you buying anything" In a very Harsh toneAt that point, I was very shocked, and I replied, " No, I have just come in the shop for heating." In that weird little moment, I honestly believe that the woman was going to ask us to leave.I do not understand what her problem was that day, but I would like to put it down too that she was very stressed, trying to sort out all the people's food. My partner had other thoughts (#blm)We ordered the cherry breakwell to take awayBecause the customer service was so bad, we did not even feel comfortable eating the cake

Nice café serving breakfast, coffee, tea, etc., plus offering a huge variety of sweet treats. Toilets are nice and relaxed seating area in the front with dining tables in the back.

We came here for the pick and mix sweets. The lady who served us was wearing no gloves to hand the sweet and she was also not very well (you could see and hear this). I think it is rather unhygienic that she is serving customers without using any gloves nor did she wash her hands prior to doing our sweets. We then throw them in the bin after leaving the shop due to not wanting to become unwell. We are very disappointed as we come here regularly!

I visited here this morning with my in laws and my 3 year old daughter and absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly and so good with my daughter, loved how there is a good kids menu which is also served on kids plates which my daughter loved and because she wanted to see what character was on the plate she ate all her breakfast also had plastic fork and spoon for her. Also a good selection of sweets again my daughter loved and also got £1 sweet bag which she loved choosing which sweets she wanted. Really nice food and lovely hot drinks. Definitely visit here again.Kid-friendliness: Thank you for my lovely experience with my daughter.

Superb food, we had the sausage and bacon roll and the warm baguette with chicken and bacon mayo filling. Both huge portions and seriously good! Staff very friendly as well and menu not expensive for the quality of food.Kid-friendliness: It's a sweet shop too

Outside seating is lovely. The staff are lovely. The portions are great, and the breakfast is beautiful. Really enjoyed it. It was clear that everyone who went in, came out smiling. Great customer service. Great food. Will be coming again for sure.

I’ve been to this cafe a few times now, it doesn’t have a very inviting ambiance, the decor, chairs and tables are dated.I am a vegetarian and gluten intolerant so anywhere with a jacket potato on the menu is a winner for me.This place is average, it won’t blow your socks off, the food is ok, the coffee isn’t very good. It is usually my go to place if I’m in hucknall and fancy grabbing a bite to eat.Their prices are slightly too high for what you get, but with the cost of living crisis this is the same everywhere.Everytime I’ve sat inside I have been able to clearly hear the staff gossiping behind the counter. Not to my taste but I have noticed other customers joining in so this maybe a preference thing.

love the food and the staff are great. go as a treat as a little on expensive side but well worth a visit ??Update....since it changed hands with new owners/managers I only visted a couple of times. The food went down hill and the service was dire. Went in not long after 3 and they said they would have to turn on the grill/fryer. They refused to do us a breakfast so haven't been back since.

So we all agree right Guys?

My children love the sweet selection here, they even do sugar free sweets. The cafe is warm and cosy and does lovely cakes and food including coffee and teas.
