We visited today for my birthday (2 middle aged friends). The food was great but I was inspired to write this review as the service was outstanding. The server, a guy with lots of tattoos, was so attentive. He couldn't have done more for us. He really made my (birth) day - thank you!

Just usually take aways. Never buying sushi from big shops anymore because yo sushi actually is cheaper and better and fresh.

Normally I love this place for a quick lunch but this time around was absurd. Server was quite rude and when it came around to paying, she made us calculate our own bill + the discount? Used an offer for 20% off + free gyoza, but didn’t receive the gyoza.

Ordered food delivery from here, took an hour and a half before anyone even went to pick it up so I rang and it had been waiting there for over an hour because no one told the driver it was ready.Edit: The food has now arrived. They sent food that was sat out for an hour and is inedible. The mochi is melted completely. I feel sorry the the guy working there because he was genuinely nice and was by himself, which seems to be a running issue with this company.

food was pretty good, however service was terrible. took over ten minutes to ask for the bill. seems as though this place is abit understaffed or maybe staff need to pay abit more attention on customers? as everytime the service just isn’t good enough. Also we didn’t get asked about the optional service charge, it was just added on but had i been asked i probably would’ve removed it.

Terrible experience. There was only one waitress during a lunch time, she was not attentive at all. Gave me and my boyfriend 20 minutes to look at the menu, before telling us there was no salmon due to delivery issues. Should've told us when you sat us down! Then had to wait another 10 minutes to reorder but I ended up walking over to her since it was getting ridiculous. Food was scrumptious though :)

Welcoming establishment with fun servers, had some great chats and good food. My favourite dish was the popcorn shrimp.

Visited Yo Sushi on Saturday and even though it was busy the staff were still very attentive and friendly! We got chatting to the chef Brendan while he was making our food and he had such great customer service, giving really good menu suggestions and serving us with a smile. No request was too much of a bother for him and he really went the extra mile to make our experience a positive one even though he was busy with orders which as a customer is just great to see! Thanks so much to all the team for a great experience!

Worst service I have had at Yo Sushi from waiting staff. Had to resort to getting my own drinks from the fridge, and had to go into the washing area to ask if I could order food. A shame as the food was really nice, and the chefs were more friendly than the waiting staff. Dark haired lady "served" us on 2.3.24, when we said it had taken ages to get her attention a generic " oh sorry guys" was the reply. Won't be returning for the service or no sh#ts given attitude.

Worst service of any Yo!... 7 people in the restaurant at lunchtime and 4 members of staff, yet they were not attentive at all (more interested in chatting to each other). After having to call them each time (no buzzer and no one came around to ask), food service was slow and incorrect. 35 minutes for a food order (luckily the conveyor was working with s few items too) and 25 minutes from ordering dessert to receiving it!Kid-friendliness: Bentonite boxes are good and a variety of options available

Visited today with my daughter and two grandchildren. The service was very poor. Had to wait for 20 minutes before some one took my drink order then 20 minutes to get the drink. No soft drinks available for my grandchildren that were not carbonated. Told we had to wait for 30 minutes for children’s meals. Very disappointing for a Friday lunchtime. This used to be a favourite restaurant to visit in Nottingham but think we will give it a miss in future.
