Visited the previous weekend, the atmosphere was lovely and as someone with anxiety it was very welcoming, met with the manager who was lovely and wanted to make sure we was having a good time, seen some reviews about having to remove hats, which my partner was also asked to do and it was explained it’s for the cameras and the safety of all the customers which my partner happily removed. Honestly will be visiting again, definitely our new local spot! Will always be making sure we are there before 9pm to get the cheeky cocktails! Love the deal! And thank you for a brilliant evening!

First time I have been in and its very nicely decorated, lovely velvet settees. Staff were lovely and friendly. They do a range of cocktails but I chose rose wine. Some draught beers and lagers too. Toilets were good too.

Absolute shambles. I came out the bar around 1130 pm to ring for a cab as we couldn’t get a signal in the bar. Having spent 100 pounds there was around 11 people trying to get in. I explained I was already in there and needed to get back in to my wife and best friends. I’m 57 by the way The guy than said I’m the owner I’m 31 I can buy and sell you. You’re not coming back in !!! People outside backed me but he wasn’t having it. My wife and friends then came out and he insulted them. The people outside said he was an absolute disgrace. Our drinks were left in the bar and he refused refunds. Please if you’re of an age that doesn’t suit the age group stay away from this place. It’s ageist and completely disrespectful.

Visited Zeon Ilkeston today. Celebrating annual bereavement of my wifes dad. Called in with our two girls (his grand children). At 4pm only to be be told NO CHILDREN even though the bar was completely empty. We will not be visiting again, with or without children.

Fabulous cocktail, great music but I will never set foot in this bar again. I watched a group of couples be publicly ejected because one of them didn't wish to remove their coat. My husband was then made to feel humiliated by repeatedly being asked to remove his cap or leave with the owner stating dismissively my bar, my rules. Quite happy to take the 60 quid we spent on drinks though! I feel sad that you've clearly experienced discrimination in your life which makes you wish to feel power over others without any rationale. What a shame

This is a bar that apparently accepts people from all walks of life but will serve and then refuse a local business man from finishing his drink because he dares to ware a cap???

So much for local spirit. Last night, at 1am, after spending around £100 in this glorified curry house, I was told I was not welcome to sit and wait for a taxi in the warmth. And instead cast outside into negative temperatures whilst the snarling sycophantic locals carried on drinking. Stephan Kuntz, of the highest order. Avoid.
