Went with some friends for a carvery. Craig the chef was very friendly and welcoming The meat was delicious and melted in our mouths. Good selection of vegetables. Been a few times now and always enjoyed it. Serve a nice pint as well.

Marc welcomed us at the door & seated us in a lovely booth. He was very helpful on choosing from the menu & making suggestions. Food was very well presented, fresh & equally tasty. Waitress was also friendly & checked that we were happy with everything. First visit here with my friend for lunch & we’ll definitely be back.

I came to Alders on Saturday as part of a work group to celebrate a 40th birthday and a leaving do. The food was lovely and the staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Recommend anytime and will be returning. One member of staff that was outstanding was a gentleman called Mark, very helpful and friendly

I went here today with my friend for her birthday, the staff were very nice and friendly, the food was fabulous, delicious meat filled pie and superb fish that was all fish and not just batter! We will definitely be back!

Family meal out with the Mother in Law. Visited 12pm Friday 29th March 2024. Very friendly and welcoming greeting by Nick at the door and we were shown to the table we had reserved. Mother in Law had gammon steak, I had the regular carvery and my husband (who is a coeliac, MUST have a gluten free meal) had the mega mixed grill. Meal was really nice and cooked very well. Price for meal and drinks was very reasonable and our waitress, Taylor, was very good in checking if we wanted anything else and verifying the meals we had ordered before and after she brought them out. Very clean pub with really friendly staff, Nick needs a medal, he works VERY hard. Would definitely continue to visit this pub as the food is always really nice and my husband has never been 'glutened' at this pub.

Celebratory dinner for our Diamond Wedding Anniversary. Ordered Sirloin Steak which was very dry and overcooked. The whole meal looked if it had been pre-cooked and had been standing for a ages.

Went to alders on the 25 March what a disappointment every item on my carvery was cold and the Yorkshire pudding was solid and I was not able to cut it . I have been visiting since it opened and this was a dreadful experience.
