Passed this place on way to collect something. Some of the best fish, chips and mushy peas we have eaten in a very long time. Quick friendly service. Fresh hot food. We live around 40 minutes away but will definitely be making a special trip out to eat here again!!!

It is all about the COOKING OIL. Most days they don't change it and the food is overpowered by an old burnt oil taste. Some days you can smell the old oil half a mile up the road. If you go and the shop doesn't stink of old oil then you are good. Best just go into New Ollerton.

If it's fish you want this is the place to go weather on the road trip or just want a chippy. You can take away or sit outside watching the world pass byParking: Parking for about 20 cars. It's just past Costa coffee and easy to findWheelchair accessibility: It's all on a flat so getting in with your wheelchair will be a breeze

Used to go on a regular basis. The service was good and the Staff were friendly. The downside was the prices went up which we accepted but then the quantity went down.

Large portions, quick service and really tasty fish and chips, lived next to it for years and this is the 1st time tried and has become my favorite fish and chips in an area, wide area have to add.Parking: About 8 spaces right next to it, but a very large pub parking available if needed, free of charge, easy access.

Excellent food, delicious mushy peas and chips. The haddock was incredible. Only tiny drawback was the Costa coffee next door, which took away from the ambience slightly with the mountains of coffee cups left on some of the outdoor tables (not exactly The Big Fish's fault however). Would highly recommend for a chippy tea!

Excellent Fresh Fish! Tasty chunky chips. Accommodated my request for a light batter no problem!

Really nice chips, our group had different selection and everyone said they would go again.

In my opinion was tastier a year ago, but still is good although got more expensive, like most places

Had small fish and chips here last night. The fish was tiny, more like a gouging, had been cut so thin the ends were over cooked and inedible. Every where else I have had a small Cod it’s been twice the size of this piece. Chips were still great thankfully.
