Stayed here last night it greatly situated a 2 min walk from sherwood forrest. The room was clean and cozy with a very comfy bed. The eggs bendict we had for breakfast was beautiful , the service was excellent I would definitely recommend.

Just went for lunch with a big group - 2nd visit for my family. Great food, drinks and service. The sticky toffee sponge was outstanding - a large portion but the sponge was very light, plenty of toffee sauce so we had no problems at all in finishing it!!

I have just attended our club meal at forest Lodge and I enjoyed every thing good food, good efficient service, the very friendly helpful staff put us all at ease, at last a place where they know what they are doing thank you from me the man with the wheel chair, I will be back???

We have had several one-night stays here and it has always been good. The Christmas dinner and breakfast food and service were both excellent. This is a very old building with narrow stairs and corridors which has been renovated many times but our room was very comfortable, warm and clean. Coffee maker and tv etc. Service friendly and helpful. I understand that ownership is changing so will be interested to see any changes.
