Very dissatisfied with Christmas lunch. Starter beautiful and hot. Turkey tough and not nice. Bowl of veg very bland. No gravy offered had to ask. Nothing like a Christmas dinner. No mashed potatoes No parsnip No roast potatoes. Dessert very small portion again very bland. Charged a fortune. Certainly not worth it. Wouldn't go

Appalling food and chaotic service. There appeared to be no organisation from the serving staff. We were not served as a table with our food being served in stages so food got cold waiting for the remaining table to be served. Staff were just wondering around aimlessy with no clue who to serve. The food was poor and my main was barely edible. My colleagues pudding was an inedible apple pie. The pastry was so soft it looked uncooked and resembled a splodge on a plate so complained and the lad serving just snatched it away and stormed off. This was noticed by another member of the serving team who said “ignore him, he usually works downstairs and everyone is giving him s**t tonight”. I regret not asking for a refund. Shame as a lovely setting but will not return and would not recommend booking this venue for your Xmas party.

Family breakfast at this lovely restaurant. Always very clean with friendly attentive staff and a menu to civet all tastes. Excellent value for money menu with lovely views into the forest.

Went here for a family wedding. I have to say that from start to finish the experience was 1st class. The wedding service was superb..... the food was superb..... the service was superb..... the venue superb. Never been here or even heard of it before now but oh my...... 5 stars all round. ?

Lovely small breakfast ordered just before 10am not many in at that time but filled up pretty quickly. Sausage was lovely came on a hot plate. Great ??

Just had a beautiful breakfast. Most perfect omelette, beautiful bacon. The staff are very friendly and I love being surrounded by trees, it's very pretty and has a center parcs vibe.

I visited here with a couple of friends to celebrate my birthday. My food arrived on a bed of undercooked sliced potatoes. The chef's response, via the waitress, was "they were cooked today". No offer of a replacement, apology or acknowledgement that there was anything wrong. I asked to speak to the manager but pparently that's the chef and he refused to speak to me. I was eventually offered a reduction of £3 off our bill. Incredibly poor service which spoilt my meal and we left without ordering dessert or coffee. None of us will be returning.

First time visit to this little gem in the forest easy to book on line lots of parking and set in a lovely wooded surroundings. Friendly welcome to a spotlessly clean restaurant, the menu is full of delicious dishes to suit all tastes. Fantastic food served hot and fresh fast friendly efficient service. Highly recommend a visit.

Enjoyed the atmosphere inside and loved looking outside, the squirrel and birds feeding. Food was delicious. Didn’t take too long. Served hot . The final bit was a bit lagging when we were ready to payWould go again and will recommend
