I was a regular customer of your pub after my wife died in march.i started going everything evening until week last Wednesday evening when the landlord was rude and abrupt and unfortunately I asked him about a dog that came in the pub just asking about the dog being in that part of the pub.As all the staff does not allow it.He promptly jumped down my throat and said it was nothing to do with me.He makes the rules .I was only asking. So I ordered my drink and he put it on the till which I always have a tab for food etc.He did no more than pore my lemonade down the sink and took my wine away and told me to get out of the pub.I said to him that I spend upto £200 a week there.And his response was.It doesn't bother him either way I get my wages at the end of the month.so that told me ? the staff have been amazing to help me because of my depression and loosing my wife ? never heard anything back from green king so it looks like I won't be going back there again.

When my order came out it was wrong, totally different order, the waitress walked away from me twice and came back twice saying it was what was on the order. I said well it's not what I ordered and , maybe they had taken the wrong order... she said I'll go check, continuing to gaslight me but no she was wrong, as I already knew... she had a bad attitude and didn't come check us the rest of the meal.Also tables sticky and dirty yet it wasn't bust and plenty of staff.

We called in here for a pre match meal, and we certainly were not disappointed.I know it's the usual pub fare, but it was served very quickly, well presented, and perfectly cooked.Great prices, good beer choice, lovely friendly staff, huge car park, and the place is massive.

We came as a family and split the bill. Everything was lovely. We spent between us over £80. We asked waitress if we could have an extra slice of pineapple. The answer was..go to the bar and order one!!

came in for a meal with my wife, we both had a Sunday lunch as the offer was to good to resist. We both went for the turkey and it was delicious! only down side they didn't have any cranberry sauce but it wasn't the end of the world. staff were lovely so keep up the good work and will definitely be back soon!

Met up with friends here for a drink. Very friendly staff and a lovely selection of beers on tap. Didn't have food here but really nice pub. Plenty of parking, lots of seating outside and inside.

Worst ever Beef Lasagna. Run out of Vanilla Ice Cream at 12.51 pm. Incorrect desserts after almost 25 minutes. Staff attitude problem. Been so many times but today ( 31/8/2023 ) was a disaster from start to finish. Very substandard Lasagna, no vanilla ice cream. Got order for two desserts wrong even after a 25 minute wait. Complained politely but young female member of staff had real problem. Slammed replacement dessert down and table and mumbled sarcastically when leaving our table. Experience rated Very Poor.

Took the family for a treat.The meals are well prices with good sized portions.There is more than ample seating space in the restaurant area and outside.Definitely will return again.

Came for a 60th birthday party on Sunday about 12 of us.Great foodReally fast serviceCouldn't fault at all.Excellent and Thankyou to all the staff ??
Massive portions but not really my sort of food, however if you like burgers and traditional pub grub you're on to a winner. It's a bit dated looking but the staff were very attentive and the food came out together, quickly and hot.

Keep meaning to leave a review and forgetting, my husband & I come here quite often and we love the varied menu, we are nearly always served by Natalie who we feel we know really well now as she’s always so friendly and chatty as well as delivering great service, last time we came we tried a few items on the new menu, all were lovely but the doughnut is out of this world! ?

Went to Jamies show, from 2 till 4 (the last Tuesday every month). Superb afternoon's entertainment, and a great meal too, everyone had a good time, and everyone involved. I will be back soon.

To see the Tuesday afternoon entertainment, people told me the gentlemen was their assistant manager. Was very surprised and shocked at all the great oldies he knew and keep getting requests and singing them. A pleasure to watch and see a pub doing something like this.
