My family and I ordered some food, we ordered 2 cod and chips, a battered sausage, fish cake, and a lamb doner kebab and another chips, we'll the cod wasn't good, the batter on the sausage was rock hard, the fishcake tasted dry, chips were really hard and we didn't get the lamb kebab, so we weren't happy with our food.

Best fish & chip shop in Abingdon, fantastic value! Huge thick fish with crispy batter, the chips may look a bit anaemic but taste great and are seasoned with just the right amount of salt and vinegar. Portion sizes are massive!

Just had two cod and chips from here 24/6 and they were superb. Been here a few times while visiting Abingdon and never had a bad meal. Great service and staff, excellent value.

Never going back to this store again! Had a few issues in the past with being served old stale re heated food, went in and asked for 5 large cod to be cooked fresh as they were cooking some for an order and the ones on display looked old, they refused so I took my businesses elsewhere. Poor food and even worse service! So many fish and chip shops in Abingdon... AVOID THIS SHOP!

Ordered our food with no problems at all and it came to us in perfect time the fish that my dad chose was excellent it was the best he ever had and the other food was delicious too I would highly recommend to anyone who asks.

Friendly and speedy service. They had paper to wrap up our chips and wooden forks so didn't have to use single-use plastics (polystyrene box). Very happy! Thanks.

Typical chippy. Have eaten from here several times. Food is average, perhaps a bit soggy as the batter lacks any crispness. In person I found staff to be impersonable. Past orders via Just Eat have had problems from incorrect items to not even turning up. When calling them regarding the issues the staff don't even care, totally unapologetic and tell you to contact Just Eat to complain. Would order from here again though as there aren't many choices for fish and chips in the area unfortunately.
