I have travelled across the country and stayed in many Premier Inns on business trips. I use Premier Inns because I can guarantee, for a reasonable price: A good evening meal A good night sleep A good early breakfast My night stay on 20.9.23 was the most I have ever paid, but I'll excuse that because it was a last minute booking My evening meal took an hour to arrive after the order had been taken. The night sleep was what I expect from Premier Inn, a comfortable bed, good shower. My breakfast this morning, where I had to give a time, 6.30am, was the worst I have ever had at a Premier Inn. The chef was obviously running late. There was no hot food laid out, plates were cold, tomatoes had obviously been microwaved because they had exploded but were hard, and the general quality of cooking was poor. Because the plates were cold, the food became cold very quickly. Definitely a fail and I will not be booking into the Premier Inn Abingdon again

Amazing new place. Second guest to check Inn. Lindsy the manager fantastic service with the voice of great singer.. A bit like Shania Twain Highly recommended. Beds and rooms are absolutely top notch.

This hotel is on the verge of closing . But we weren’t informed of this until we arrived . No beefeater next door as advertised (the reason for booking )breakfast was so long in coming we had to abandon it (. An hour and a half) as we had to book out .

Excessively expensive, for a shabby hotel, with very few facilities. Would advise against staying here, unless money is no object to you...! Location is reasonable, but nothing else positive to say about this awful hotel.

Usual Premier Inn standard, friendly check in staff and clean comfortable room. Really good location, only few minutes from A34 and 15 min stroll into town. Parking on site, which is free. There is a Beefeater on site, but we walked into town for our evening meals as there was good selection of reas taurinas/pubs. Would stay again here.

Really disappointed with no cook breakfast for two days due to no chef.I was told that there was a shuttle bus from outside the hotel to the festival I was going to but it was at Didcot so instead local transport to Steventon then a mile walk.

Sadly worst Premier Inn experience apart from the reception staff who couldn't be more helpful. This particular Inn is closing and a brand new one is opening just up the road. Didn't get a good night sleep and facilities were poor.

Old and dated and massively overpriced. They had the bar and restaurant closed due to staffing issues for the duration of our stay which was a massive inconvenience. The Premier Inn are building new premises up the road and it feels like they've totally given up on these premises in the meantime charging the same standard and even increased rates.

Boiling, sweltering hot rooms. The continental breakfast next door isn’t great. They have cut costs at every opportunity. Staff in the hotel front desk are really good though. I guess Premier Inn are spending the absolute minimum before the new hotel up the road opens…Note: I’ve added some photos of the grotty bathroom from my last stay…

Nice hotel but the room was far too hot 27C with the windows open and the fan they supplied was useless. The beefeater was only open for breakfast so couldn’t get an evening meal or a drink. Needed one as it was so hot in the room.

A lovely friendly welcome from the staff. We arrived very early about 10.00am, we were able to leave our car on the car park and head into town. We had chosen to stay here as my husband had a driving experience day at Abingdon airport. Location of Premier Inn was perfect. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The town of Abingdon is very pretty too. Plenty of eating places, pubs and cafes. Ideal for a lovely relaxed weekend or couple of days away.

Good availability fir parking - don’t think the hotel is particularly popular. I have had some great stays in Premier Inns but this was not a good stay.Very hot rooms, very outdated and in need of some serious TLC and updating/refurbishing.

5 stars not because it's a 5 star hotel but because it was great value and the staff were superb. Spacious room with a large bed, with tea/coffee facilities. Plenty of parking. Beefeater next door acts as its restaurant. We stopped overnight on our way to a holiday but if we needed to stay in the area again this would be our first choice. NB no lift so for the less able try to book a ground floor room.Rooms: Spacious rooms with a large bedFood & drinks: Beefeater next door is good valueNoteworthy details: No lift
