Best chippy in Abingdon by a mile! Chips are amazing, kebabs awesome and top notch burgers too. Haven't tried the fish yet but I'd expect it to be excellent too.

We got a collection from here on Wednesday and on the Thursday me and my brother were feeling very ill and we’re up all night being sick. It’s the only thing we ate so we definitely know it was that. They were very busy when we went in there so they obviously didn’t cook it properly or something got handled and now we’ve ended up with food poisoning. I’m glad I never gave my young son any and it’s put me off for life I’ve never been so sick in my life

So bad, never been anywhere as bad recently the last 2 times have been bad one was that they missed half the order and only gave us chips they "forgot" 3 sausages 2 pies and 2 fish. And most recently, we had to wait over half an hour, and we were not told about the wait. Only after 20 minutes we asked, and they said to more. If it takes that long, you NEED TO tell your customers it will be a long we didn't even get an apology

Ordered bacon cheesy chips, they are normally nice, but the quality has gone down, chips were very hard, it was like eating glass , the cheese & the bacon was all stuck together in a lump rather than being mixed in with the chips, I couldn’t eat in all, I doubt I’ll be coming here

I recently visited a local chippy and had an extremely disappointing experience. The chips were not only black and brown, but some were also undercooked and hard plus the looked like leftover not a porper chip amongst the potion. Fish was overpriced for what is was very dry and tasteless.

Ridiculously slow. A medium portion of chips took 20 minutes. I understand fish might be cooked to order and you have to wait your turn but not chips. This is the second time out of 2 visits. I won't come again. Sorry.

The food here is consistantly good, really well cooked. "Fatima" on till is always polite and helpful. Its not the closest Takeaway to me, but worth the extra 10 mins.
Food was alright but the not compared to the other fish and chips in Abingdon the (Abingdon fish and chips) were so out of this world compared to this and the prices for fish now back in my day they were so much

We ordered online for a family gathering of 10 people. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The portions were very generous and very good value.We found being able to preorder online for such a large gathering incredibly convenient.We would definitely recommend Peachcroft, Smarts and we'll definitely be ordering again. Arrived early afternoon, so had to wait for fish to be cooked. However it was well worth it,bas the fish was delicious. Chips were pretty standard. Small portion was plenty for me, so worked out a decent price.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces in car park just outside the shop. Be careful coming in through as there is no right of way, and there are no directional arrows within the car park itself

Went today, the fish was huge and the batter so good, chips were the same. Best we’ve had for years. Friendly staff also.
