Had some great drinks here. It had a really nice cozy atmosphere and we'll definitely be back to try to menu, which looked very tasty!

When we arrived at The Brewery Tap we went into the bar to get the keys. We were greeted by a friendly person who took us outside through another door into the room area. This was such a surprise. We had the most fantastic and large room with large ensuite. It was very clean and had a very comfortable bed and bedding together with two easy chairs. When you were in the room, you were not bothered by any activity in the pub or garden. Would we stay again......certainly!

I stopped in for a couple of pints of beer on a Thursday night. I have heard that there is good music at the weekend and a lively quiz on a Tuesday but I was pleased for a little peace and quiet. I saw a wide selection of beers on draught but for the life of me couldn't work out what they were from my position at the bar. A good deal of bottle choices in the fridges too but again I couldn't see what was what. I feel there is a great impatience with bar staff who expect a customer to arrive at an unknown pub to immediately know what they want. My feedback would be to appreciate that a customer is seeing what is available and give them time to select something. Subsequently when I left I noticed that some of the beers are listed by the bar but it wasn't obvious to me when I ordered my drinks. There were many populated tables and those eating seemed to enjoy their food. It certainly looked and smelt good from my point of view. Staff were friendly and hooray for collecting glasses and wiping down tables promptly. I shall visit again but please do assist me with a beer menu in clear print. M Fenton Aug 2023

Shame, as we had great hopes for this stay as we love our real ale and staying in a pub with rooms sounded perfect. Staff were efficient, ales great condition and the meal was plentiful and delicious. There was no parking for guests staying over night. Only about 6 spaces at a squeeze and it was full. (Description mentions free parking) We booked on booking.com, which doesn't mention self service breakfast from fridge on landing. This should be made clearer. The room we had was the room you first come to at top of stairs, nice room but had a terrible smell of sewage. We had to keep window open and extractor fan on. Not at all pleasant. Spoke to cleaner next day who confirmed that there had been local issues. Although shower clean, it looked unsightly as the grout is really bad, quite black in a few areas. There is a product on the market that will clean this at little expense.. Really worth doing. Lastly please improve lighting at bathroom mirror. Too dark for my husband to shave. I had to put my makeup on sitting at window.

Decent range of beers (well kept). Friendly staff. More of a standard pub atmosphere than a brew tap.

Located on the far side of town this venue is well worth staying at if you’re in the area. Our room was on the third floor (two flights of stairs) and was very spacious, smart and well decorated. The venue is adjacent to a major road so you have to accept the traffic noise which starts early in the morning. 8888. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful and our bags had already been taken to the room for us. Breakfast was a self-service buffet located on the 2nd floor with lots of items to choose from but had then to be taken to the room (or outside) to be consumed. If you do go outside remember to take your key to the door at the bottom of the stairs (situated off the courtyard) as it’s self-locking. As we were walking part of the Thames path the venue kindly agreed to take delivery and pass on our bags to the baggage transfer company (so a very big thanks). We also ate at the bar downstairs later that evening and as its name suggests it has a great choice of real ales to choose from. The food was also very good and reasonably priced, portion sizes are also generous. The bar staff were great, very friendly and helpful in explaining the beers and food choices. It seemed very popular with the locals and was very busy whilst we were there which is always a good sign.

A great local pub and one of few independent ones in Abingdon. I can vouch for the Sunday roasts being excellent - probably the best I've ever had when I visited last year. Love that the ingredients are locally sourced.Selection of drinks is excellent, with some less-common largers on tap and local spirits too. You can also find pub quizzes and live music every week.Highly recommend for anyone passing by and who is eager to support high quality independent pubs.

Sadly I'm not local to Abingdon, as it's an excellent pub. A great selection of real and craft ales, and excellent food to go with it. The previous times I'd been here, 4 years ago, I had the Beef Brisket, and I had it again this week ?

Rooms are nice however, lorries driving past the window of the large room felt like an earthquake from 3am. Help yourself continental breakfast was OK but the Coffee machine was great! In the bar a great selection of beers although fairly pricey! Food was incredible, I had three starters and we're all great! The mushrooms in Stilton sauce were class!

If I didn’t live 2.5 hours away this would be my local for sure. Great vibe, amazing food all my favourite beers, friendly staff, good garden bar. It has it all.
