Good service and freshly cooked food. The Omlettes are really good and the baguettes. Coffee is nice too. I recommend this cafe.

Forget Costa, Forget Starbucks. The coffee her is exceptional. The quality of the beans they use makes fir the best coffee you taste for Miles around. We travel from Hungerford to Abingdon and its worth it.

A decade ago, whilst visiting family, we happened upon this gem of a cafe. Now we come every month (from Cheshire). The food, the service, the generosity of heart is welcoming. The family dynamics have changed (growing grand children) but the warm response is a constant.

A real little gem! It is such a rare treat to find a independent cafe these days in a high street filled with bug American chains I was so pleased to find The lounge cafe. The owners are so lovely and friendly the menu was great I found it hard to make a choice as there were so many lovely choices. If your looking for a really nice cafe and want to support local then give them a try you won't be disappointed!
