Had a lovely time here- me and my partner stopped on the middle of our hike and the waiters were lovely and food was really really good! Drinks were also of a high standard - I liked the coffee! I’d recommend :)

Tea is served in a mug, just a tea bag in boiling water. Please think doing pots of tea it is so much nicer. Lady serving was pleasant but seemed distracted and had no time for pleasantries.

The building is lovely and there is plenty of space between tables.The food was well presented and tasty.The only criticism is that a service charge is added but not disclosed in advance. There is also a tips jar by the cash register. Personally I don't believe service charges should be added, but if you do this then it should be made obvious prior to orders been taken or by the cashier when you go to pay. The receipt was presented after payment.

We arrived for brunch slightly late only to discover they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch service. Fortunately, their lunch and specials menu proved to be just as attractive. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to our needs, especially to our very energetic dog. The whole experience was delightful, and we enjoyed a delicious seafood risotto and a savory mushroom on toast with poached eggs.

I am a regular at this venue and have never been disappointed. The food is superb, lovely interior and friendly service. My only small criticism is that last weeks Sunday breakfast service was too slow at the peak time we came in. We are patient people but there were obviously under-staffed and it does get noticed. But that should not detract from an overall good experience and we shall certainly remain regulars.

How lovely that this business has such friendly and diligent staff, we will be back and recommending to frends that haven't visited yet.
