After two unsuccessful attempts to get in, I reserved and was NOT disappointed. Great service, outstanding food and wine and a friendly atmosphere. I’d highly recommend, but make a reservation !!

2 of us went for meal, this place had been recommended to us, and they didn't disappoint!! The waiting staff were very attentive, the food was freshly cooked and well presented. I has Sea Bass, and wife had Meatballs.Parking: Parking across road using App.. not sure about cash!

We went to La Foglia with a friend of mine and our son at the weekend. We had not booked a table but they managed to fit us in and provide a high chair. The food was delicious. I chose the vegetable ravioli and would definitely have it again! The vanilla cheesecake was also very good. They also boiled some vegetables for our son. Service was good and when we left the restaurant was very busy, with most tables taken on a Saturday night so would advise to book ahead if you are going on a weekend!Vegetarian options: Several good vegetarian options on the menu.Kid-friendliness: Highchair provided. Food cooked especially for baby.

I really enjoyed my pasta, very tasty. Our waitress was really lovely. I've noticed it fairly popular with young families.The only downfall is that when all windows are open and people smoke in front of the restaurant, the smell goes right in.

Had a top notch meal at La Foglia. The restaurant provides some toast and a spicy tomato paste whilst your starter is prepared. An excellent touch. My avocado and crayfish starter was beautifully presented. The lobster ravioli exquisite.

Our first trip to La Foglia. The staff friendly and attentive but not over the top. We went for lunch yesterday - it was nothing short of excellent. soup, seafood risotto, Bruschetta and then the gnocchi with gorgonzola. The flavours were superb, such a lovely change from the 'run of the mill' Italian. We will certainly be going back and hopefully in the very near future. Martyn and Jacqui Parratt

We went to La Foglia for dinner last Saturday with our Daughter. As always the food and service was superb. All of our meals was excellent as was the house red. Tiramisu was perfect. I would highly recommend a visit

Chose this place on passing as it looked nice - well presented tables. It was a Thursday night and we were the only diners, thought there were a few take away collections. Service was good, food was well presented and very good and the house wine was also very good. Overall a good meal - just needed a few more people.

We were staying at the nearby Banbury Cross B&B and the owner recommended La Foglia as possible dinner venue. Although it was a Thursday evening in February, the restaurant was very busy and we thought we might be out of luck. However, the staff were very attentive and a few minutes later we were allocated a nice table for two. Even though the restaurant was quite full, the ambience and experience was extremely enjoyable, and the staff were brilliant. The menu was reassuringly traditional, and we chose chicken in a mushroom cream sauce and a calzone pizza accompanied by a bottle of the house red, and it was superb! IMHO, probably one of the best Italian meals this side of Naples! If you're in Banbury and like authentic Italian food, this is the place for you.
