I went into this bar tonight for a drink, it had live music and a nice vibe, good atmosphere for a drink. There were three girls sat at a table near me and one was very drunk, her two friends were talking to someone and the drunk one stumbled/fell through the doors to the smoking area out of their sight, we have all been there, no judgement here! There were some boys outside and I got up to tell her friends that they needed to watch/look after their friend, because who knows who you could stagger into in that state, but I saw the a member of staff (manager maybe?) Was watching through the window to make she was ok. After a brief chat I realised she was watching the girl to make sure she was ok. Just thought it would be good to recognise caring barstaff with a nice review, more bars need barstaff who care in this way and I think highly of this bar for her actions. Thank you for caring, I have a little sister of a similar age and would hate to think of her getting in such a vunerable state. I will definitly visit again if I am up in Banbury, the beer was good too!

A great little wine bar/pub operated by Greene King the only downside to this venue is the prices which are a tad too expensive.

The only venue in Banbury in which we had a half drunk bottle of water removed from my bag because - and I quote - "We sell water here". Despite us explaining to the bouncer that we were out to try to forget that our dog had been put to sleep today, we were met with the sympathy one might expect from North Korea. Avoid, like the plague. I have never experienced the idea that it isn't OK to bring water in. Even nightclubs aren't so ridiculous. With everything going on, it might not be unreasonable to expect a little more tolerance. Oh well. The way things seem to be going I suppose. Disappointing, depressing and all too predictable. Water, really?

Terrible bullying my friends daughter made her wait outside will never return absolutely shocking but clearly very in experience management
It's a nice place, but just doesn't really do wine ? we asked a wine list which they don't do, but have a good selection of gins though ?
Dropped in for a beer and was treated to a lovely Jazz Jam evening. Nice!
