Have a few family birthdays coming up and with onset of Valentines Day too, I purchased 4 cards yesterday. I was stunned as to how much they came to.£16 Needless to say I will NOT be buying any cards from Waitrose again. You may have said they would be excellent quality for the price but no they were not, we needed to have a piece of tape on the back to seal them as didn't close properly. Very aggrieved and disappointed customer.

Store returned to almost PRE-COVID-19 operation. Shelves are well stocked. Moderate number of shoppers makes queuing time acceptable.Update: unfortunately, like other Waitrose stores currently it suffers from supply problems. Most popular label on many shelves is "We apologise, this product is temporarily unavailable".I am afraid that this situation will not change in foreseeable future.Update: products supply has improved. There's quite good product choice now and many own brand (ESSENTIAL) items have lower prices.

Thought we would have a nice lunch twice here and both times they have no stock of any hot lunch items. Thought after the first time it would be a 1 off however nothing available on the second try. Extremely disappointing!

Love this cafe. Perfect place to start your day. Unfortunately no hot food due to technical issues but still nice coffee and croissants as an alternative :) fully recommend. Family friendly, amazing stuff and service.

Having been a loyal Waitrose customer for years, I am really disappointed that the store has gone downhill in the past 2 years in terms of reliability and quality. The fruit and veg has a poor shelf-life, that's when the shelves aren't bare. The cafe is the biggest disappointment. We went there today to be told that they weren't doing what we wanted (club sandwich). The menu screen wasn't working and they didn't have an alternative paper copy of the menu to choose from. We ordered something, then someone came over to tell us they weren't actually doing it. The worst thing is - no one seems to care, say sorry or try to help. They just blame 'management'.

Easily the worst breakfast in town I'm afraid. I had a full English with a friend egg that was so underdone it was inedible. Partner had poached eggs that were overdone. Stringy bacon. Really disappointed as it's not cheap.
Absolute shambles of a store. I had my hands full of goods about to pay then asked are there any disposable cups for the coffee machines. I got aswered with (you have to take your own) what so you expect someone to pay over £10.00 for 1 coffee in a cup for £8.00 no thanks. I almost feel like taking a costa regular (like you said you have to take your own) order a large in a costa regular burn myself and blame and claim. Bet you never thought of that happening. After this experiance i vow as long as i live i will never be spending a penny in your stores. Also the whole claim idea will be the only reason i revisit one. I will also be sure to tell as much people about this as i can to make sure nobody i know uses your shiii hile stores

Supermarket nice but the service today in the Cafe was shocking. Slow, gruff rude staff - mainly laughing to themselves and chatting rather than serving - then gruff when they did eventually get round to acknowledging me. Disappointing.

Coffee and cakes are fantastic, cooked food is nothing special but comes quick.Staff are friendly, the cafe is normally pretty quiet in the mornings making it a great place to get work done.
