Lovely little shop with lots of excellent artisanal foods that made excellent gifts. We went for brunch and had a really good bacon and sausage roll with a delicious coronation chicken bap! Will definitely be going back!

Went to Bumbles this weekend and left with some amazing produce! With help from the lovely owner/chef, Sally, I picked out some homemade goodies from the deli counter for dinner and a really nice bottle of Prosecco. I would definitely recommend visiting the store as there is so much choice, it’s a treasure trove of gourmet food/confectionery. Will be back again soon!

Such a cute spot and I really enjoyed the coronation chicken sandwich. A proper British classic done well.

Popped into Mrs Bumbles for a spot of lunch, had a lovely sandwich and scotch egg. Sally told me all about the lovely local cheeses and we took a few home with us to try. Will be back when I'm back in Burford next time.

Very rude lady that served me I asked a polite question, with her reply WHAT! Not pardon not helpful at all ! There was a Mail member of staff almost following us around the shop made us very uncomfortable! I purchased some puka tea . Would definitely not re visit rather be thirsty!

I came here looking for a sandwich, little did I know it would be as hairy as the owners minging dog. I had a coronation chicken sandwich and in the middle was a clump of hair. When I was being served the ~60 year old woman sneezed + didn’t have any gloves on. Horrendous customer service for such an empty shop. Would NOT recommend.

It looked like a very quaint shop on the outside. There is alot of interesting food choices inside and home made quiches at the back. Unfortunately not very inviting and the staff/owner didn't seem very interested in serving us which is why I wouldn't recommend it. Possibly not a fan of visitors/ non locals but who can say.

NOT hygienic, and terrible owner. Looks quaint, but the food isn’t hygienic - off sandwiches and the fruit I bought was going off. The owner was really shouting at her staff when I was back in the queue to complain, so just left. She had no shame and appeared to have a personality defect. There are better places to go to on Burford Hill.

I stopped here on the way through to Oxford for some light snacks and ended up leaving with an entire basket of delightful goods that had obviously been thoughtfully stocked from local producers from around the Cotswolds. The owner, Sally was incredibly friendly and helped me pick a local selection of cheeses as a gift for my partner. I told her I had to run as I needed to drive to Oxford and she so thoughtfully made me the most delicious coronation chicken roll (on a soft brioche bun) that i’ve ever tasted in my life. I want that recipe! This is a truly authentic delicatessen. Thank you Sally! I can’t wait to return to restock on the cheese, craft beer & pasta. my partner and I loved it! Kindest regards, Martin

Wow how rude was the owner .The poor lad who works there needs to leave and find a job with someone who doesn't humiliate him in front of customers ... Never will we go there again i was disgusted by how rude she was and how disrespectful to her paying customers .

Love this little place, the smells wash over you the moment you walk in and the atmosphere is just as rich. I keep coming back for something delicious they do on the deli counter but I'm not saying what.... I expect everyone will have their own favourite anyway!
