Beautiful roast dinner with friends - I had the pork and LOVED all the trimmings... Big bowl of roast potatoes... Hearty bowl of cauliflower cheese... And lashings of gravy. Yum. My only criticism is that there wasn't much pork on the pork as it was so fatty, but otherwise, superb. Thanks guys - will see you soon!

We decided to visit the Lamb for my 50th birthday and we weren’t disappointed. The decor is beautiful and so reflective of the Cotswolds. Fire was roaring and the atmosphere was so welcoming.Food was amazing and beer was great.Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the area and want a great beer, great food in typical Cotswolds surroundings ??

I give this a one star only for the reason that our tires were slashed in their parking lot tonight and as a foreigner (and two women traveling alone) who was stranded for hours and barely made it home because of this, it was not only extremely worrying for our actual safety (as we couldn’t get home until nearly 1am) but also sad for our experience of the entire region. The food here was lovely but if it’s a place where foreigners aren’t wanted (and therefore have their tires slashed) perhaps just let people know they aren’t wanted. Happy to have a meaningful discussion about this with the owners if they would like. As a former hospitality owner I would certainly appreciate knowing.

Had lunch here on the way home after a short break in the Cotswolds. Lovely cosy pub with a log fire and friendly service. Food was exceptional - I had the burrata with figs and beans and the escargot with frog’s legs. Absolutely delicious. They also had a set lunch - pork belly and bread and butter pudding which sounded great. Would gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

One of the best meals I’ve had in England. Lovely pub with a really impressive chef. Stopped in the middle of dinner to give it 5 stars.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely village. Very friendly staff. Room was excellent and spotlessly clean. Very nice bathroom with quality toiletries. Breakfast was first class with a great choice. We ate in the restaurant and both enjoyed our meal. Very dog friendly. Has a small garden and large terrace. Good walking available from the door, both for on lead and off lead walks. Really enjoyed our stay and will return.

This review is in praise of the service and food from our visit for lunch last week which is deserved of 5 stars. Standout dishes included the bone marrow bread with capers and parsley, the calves liver and the steak frites. I can also confidently advise their pizzas are without equal. The above was all complemented by warm service that matched the vibe of the place.

We had a wonderful stay in room number 10 with my baby and our dog. The staff were lovely and the room was perfect. Even though it is a busy pub the room is quiet and comfortable. The food was fantastic don’t let some of the older reviews put you off The Lamb is definitely a top B&B/Pub. We can’t wait to come back!Rooms: My only small improvement would be to have the room cleaned a bit better in-between nights as it’s nice to come back to a fresh room after a day out

My husband and I went for dinner on a Sunday night, they had live music and half price pizza on which was a lovely surprise. The music created such a great atmosphere and the the food was delicious. Lots of choice on the menu, we had some small plates to start to share and then some steak frites which were delicious and really great portions! Highly recommend if you want a cosy local trendy pub. We will be coming back with our kids for pizza very soon x

I was looking for somewhere to stay in the Cotwold's which is halfway between myself and my partner’s homes. We were looking for 2 things dinner and king size bed minimum. I called to check they had availability for dinner and I was booked in for 7.45 so I then went ahead via expedia to book a room, as it specified King size bed and I had managed to book a table in the restaurant, i thought all was good! It was a bit of a mystery as to why I was called an hour of so later to say did I want dinner at 6.45 or 9pm, i queried but I’ve already booked a table which apparently I didn’t even though I was passed to someone else and made the reservation. Alas we found another table 2 minutes down the road from the Lamb Inn (As I’d booked a non-refundable room and if you have ever tried to get through to Expedia it’s akin to probably some form of torture). So I think back on track we have a king size room and dinner just down the road! I arrived to find a double bed in the room, so far my two requirements have both failed! (King Size bed and Dinner). I didn’t book an alternative accommodation as it only had a double bed although about £100 cheaper. To note the Lamb Inn website states all your beds are king or super king, as did Expedia when you book, it’s only after the booking confirmation that it says double. However that appears to be just the start, the floor was on such a slope that I felt like I was going to roll out of the bed all night, coupled with a winter duvet on the bed in July and a window that only opened about 3 inches. So to add to that it was like the bed was in the middle of the pub, the noise was unreal in that room, directly above the bar. We both had the worst night’s sleep, pretty much ruined the night away, and if I had been on my own and not meeting up I would have actually driven the 2 hours and gone home in the middle of the night, as would my partner have done. Currently I spent £264 for that room, at best this room is a £100 room. Totally overpriced poor accommodation. I did take up with the Lamb Inn prior to leaving this review to give them the opportunity to address my issues however, that was a waste of time as I was essentially fobbed off with waffle after i chased my email after a week and apparently they had missed that one!

Avoid room 6 if you want any sleep. The extractor vent is as good as in the room and is very noisy and smelly. The weather was very warm so we had to have the tiny window open. Went home for a good sleep. Great food and staff and the bed was comfortable. Superb breakfasts. Such a shame the noise and smell prevented us from sleeping. We won’t be back.

We just spent one night and had a very pleasant experience. In a desert and peaceful town in the Cotswolds, this typical pub offers nicely decorated room in a vintage spirit. The room is as nice as in a 4* venue with water, bathrobs etc The pub is small and cosy with fire places everywhere and a patio where we had our breakfast on a lucky sunny day. The breakfast is served at the table with a choice of typical English courses. The only negative thing was the price of the restaurant with outrageous expensive wines… 15£ a glass of Chardonnay, 8£ for olives… the good value of the room made it less painful ! I recommend!

We stayed at the Lamb Inn for two nights, the room was cosy but had everything we needed. The breakfast included in our package each morning was fantastic, one of the best we have ever had in a stay away. Both continental and a choice of cooked options were available. We also had dinner at the pub on the lovely outside patio, this food was also spot on! It is obvious this is a popular spot for both visitors and locals! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We reccomend visiting the wild forest walk just down the road from the pub, a real hidden gem. Ask a member of staff and they will point you in the right direction.

Came here for a sunday roast and was not disappointed. We had the crab salad, the parsley flatbread, and the chicken to start. For mains had 2 pork roasts and to our surprise a greek BBQ was offered on the day so tried that out too. The food, service and ambiance was brilliant. A lady was singing live music outside on the day also which was great. The only reason i give 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the prices are a bit steep when you compare it to places offering a similar quality. However thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience and would defo recommend.

excellent sunday lunch Everything you would expect from a sundy roast. Whilst expensive it would seem norm for the area. The roast was well cooked and tasty with fresh seasonal vegitables. Everything about the luch was very good
