We popped into the lovely little Cotswold town of Burford again, having been here many times before.....It was around lunch time so we decided to go into the Priory Tea rooms for our refreshments.....It's not a very big place inside but we were lucky enough to get a window side table.........We ordered our food and drinks ,without having to wait long as the service was excellent from the lovely friendly and welcoming staff.....When the food arrived I must say it was a very large portion and well worth the money, that being the chilly and cheese jacket potatoes which were very nice, personally I would have liked a bit of butter on the potato before the filling but that's just me,it was still very enjoyable.......As with all the buildings in this sweet little Cotswold town it was lovely and quaint inside,a great place to pop into if feeling peckish.....?

Delicious little spot we enjoyed while on a tour of the Cotswolds today. Delicious scones and tea. Very kind people and nice and clean.

My wife and i stayed at the Priory tea rooms for the bank holiday(end may).Making our reservation for three nights as it was our wedding anniversary, i phoned the Priory before hand to see if they would do some chocolates and wine for our arrival as a surprise for my wife .Kim was excellent at what she done and our service and stay was class 1 no problems at all and all staff was so helpful. Will definitely return and recommendRooms: Clean tidy and freshSafety: We felt safe walking about at night and day

We have been visiting The Priory for many years to eat and to stay and we love it. However, we stopped by today and had the full English breakfast. It was a great disappointment. Some of the items were cold and the egg overdone. We felt it was overpriced at £12.50. We will certainly go back because we love it but won’t have the English breakfastNearby activities: Beautiful area

Nice tea room, served coffee too, with all day breakfast and a great home made cake game, while there are many on Burford high street this is my favourite, mainly on front of house team...

I only had their chai tea which was good. Some of my friends had the butter and scone which they said was delicious. The staff was friendly and the place feels cosy.

Excellent breakfast and perfectly cooked. Welcoming staff and good value for money. Plenty of competition in the area but very happy we chose the priory. If we are ever in the area again we will return.

Didn't expect much but expectations were well and truly exceeded. Lovely garden and great service. Would be fantastic to sit by the fire in winter.

Waited until we ordered and then told us it was no dogs inside (despite no signage) so then we had to move to sit and eat in the freezing cold and rush off.If you want to be no dogs, fine, but put a sign up or at least tell people when they come in so we could have chosen to spend our money elsewhere.

The best sandwich, I have ever eaten! Beautiful fresh bread and a great choice.Good value and service in a stunning, bustling town. Outside seating is available both front and to the back of the restaurant and of course indoors. Whatever the weather, this is a good stop off to prepare you for the hill climb ahead up the high street!

Service not so great, but most likely because of a tourist party of American visitors finding the concept of a cream tea difficult and troubling the proprietor. Stood waiting for ages to do a quick contactless payment.
