“Found this place after a short drive from our holiday cottage and so glad we did ! It was lunchtime and very busy but we found a table and ordered the pie of the day which we had to wait an hour for but it was well worth the wait it was steak and ale and was all steakand you knew that by waiting so long it was freshly cooked and the staff were great as well unfortunately we live in Southampton so it would not be my regular but it would be well worth the 2 hour drive to taste that pie again. Went back for a second time and it was as good as the first ? same food and same great service”
