We have been to the straw kitchen dozens of times and always enjoyed the food, people and vibe. Today I had the bangin’ broth which was one of the best taste experiences ever - absolutely fabulous thank you.

…in that gilets and Range Rovers are not mandatory and the the service is excellent! My Korean beef and leaf ‘tacos’ dish was delicious, including the pickled ‘kimchi’ carrots and meat itself in particular. Lovely setting too plus I recommend trying (and then even buying) some of their chilli sauce too.

Stopped for brunch on a rainy Saturday. Had a veggie dish of poached eggs on focaccia with chick peas and salad and Halloumi. Really delicious. Lovely laid back vibes, fresh local ingredients I can’t wait to return.

We loved this place, the vibe & the food are amazing. We had breakfast twice during our week in the Cotswolds and I wished I could take this place home! Go there if you have the chance.

See the effort this place goes to with food offerings and staff constantly moving as a popular/busy spot in the summer (plenty of outdoor seating) My thoughts…simplify menu and be a little more generous with portions. Hot drinks weren’t served hot and ranks the smallest latte I’ve had EVER. Ordered both mezze plates to share, as first timers, thought a good way to ‘see for ourselves’. Again titchy. In hindsight might have been better value to choose 3 mains we actually wanted and share those. Oh well. Nice enough to try once. Not sure I’ll come again purposely.

Gorgeous place to sit and watch the world go by. The food is always excellent, with the menu changing regularly and including lots of seasonal delights. My children really enjoyed the kids menu because it included both well known favourites and also smaller plates of the regular menu. Despite being very busy, food was delivered quickly and the plates were just beautiful... Sorry no photos, because we all tucked in without delay! Everything is served on pottery from Whichford Pottery on the same site. Great atmosphere and lovely staff, who are all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Last but not least, the coffee is top notch, especially if you treat yourself to a homemade peanut butter cookie to go with it ?

Without question, our best dining experience in 50 days of travel in the UK. Excellent coffee and truly excellent food, combined with a superb atmosphere and comedic service. Lots of back-chat, and generally happy vibes.Cluttered-but-clean dining tables scattered around wherever they fit, noisy customers and the staff buzzing around, all add to the amazing atmosphere. Come here on a Saturday morning as we did, and sit and watch it all going on around you - while tucking in to the Meze Plate. We ordered both versions: Vegetarian/Vegan and the steamed chicken option (with added chorizo...). Just delicious! The coffee was so good that I ordered a take away to drink as we perused the wares in the pottery shop.We loved this place. We first visited at the beginning of our holiday, and couldn't wait to come again. We weren't disappointed...

Lovely peaceful location. Good coffee and cake. Friendly service. Right next to pottery which is well worth a visit

A very pleasant location, family- and dog-friendly. However the menu is very limited and yet excessively complicated. Each dish has too many competing flavours (a bacon sandwich swamped by the overpowering flavour of aniseed from the (otherwise delicious on its own) bread, for example. A private suggestion that sometimes less is more met with a very dismissive response; we know now that our custom is not wanted there.

Beautiful little place with great food and lovely staff. There is always a good range from super healthy to very indulgent.

This hidden gem was a lovely find, very eco and amazing food

The food is absolutely out of this world! Staff are super friendly and it’s all sustainably sourced! On a dry day, great seating outside. If it’s wet, head indoors.

A big plate full of beautifully prepared, tasty and colourful food. All in a lovely setting. Good vegan options too. Highly recommended.

Lovely food and we were sorely tempted to stay for lunch seeing all the delights going by. We had tea, coffee and cake following a walk around the pottery shop and was yummy
