Wow what a great find…wonderful hosts amazing tasting menu and unbelievable value for money.We were only here for a weekend but will make a point of visiting again. I hope the local residents support the owners. These kind of restaurants offering menus and service at this level and price point are almost unheard of now.I wish the owners every success, they deserve it on every level.

OMG! Superb!!! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. It is without doubt one of the best meals we have had for a long, long time. We can’t wait to return. I could rave about the magnificent food and the wonderful service but you just need to book and go as soon as possible!

We just had lunch at this restaurant and can’t recommend it highly enough. Very warm and welcoming front of house. Lovely flavours and beautifully presented. (Duck and piccalilli ice cream). All courses were fantastic. Service left to your discretion and not automatically added on. Don’t wait till this has a Michelin star!! We will be back. Thank you and well done.

I cannot rate this lovely place highly enough! The food was impeccable, the service was so friendly and the atmosphere was just perfect. My partner even got a mini birthday sparkler, after we had off the cuff mentioned why we were there.We will definitely be coming back to this little gem ?Thank you for such a lovely eveningDietary restrictions: If allergic to wheat, and the menu was perfectly curated that I didn’t need to worry. I mentioned it as we sat down and all of our food was expertly considered. It’s rare when you have an allergy to not feel like your being singled out, but the team at the chandlers made me feel worry free without being an oddity - thankyou.

The food was absolutely outstanding- every dish cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. Beautiful presentation and brought out by two chefs who were clearly passionate about what they do. The friendly service just topped the night off. We are fortunate to be local and will definitely be back again. Go experience dinner here, you will not be disappointed!
Wonderful food, everything was delicious and well presented. Atmosphere is lovely, good for a special ocassion without being pretentious. Service friendly and informative. Excellent value for money- £62.50 for the set dinner felt like a real bargain given the quality. Both meat and vegetarian options were amazing. Would recommend with no hesitation.

We live locally & although we’d heard good things on the local grapevine, didn’t realise what a transformation has taken place under the new owners.Stunning food, beautifully presented, but a lovely informal atmosphere.In the evenings it’s a tasting menu - 5 courses I think (lost count!) plus amuses bouches - which is really good value given the quality of the food. Lovely wine list too.Exceptional place with lovely staff that deserves to do well.We’ll be back to try Sunday lunch next!

We went to The Chandlers Arms for the first time and ate from the lunch menu. The food was well constructed, well presented and everything on the plate added to the over taste of the dish. All three courses were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Also, the homemade bread and homemade butter were a real treat. The service was every bit as good as the meal. As it was quiet, we also had a good chat with the staff and chefs which was a bonus. We enjoyed the meal so much that as soon as we got home, we booked in for dinner service in two weeks time. I think this will soon become a regular place that we choose to eat out at.
