Delicious toastie and my sister's food looked great too. Lovely hot cuppa of breakfast tea. Great atmosphere and full but not overcrowded.Wheelchair accessibility: Tables negotiable with wheelchair ie. not too close together.

Best Sourdough toasties and bread puddingI have ever had. The service was very slow considering that there were 4 staff members but they were friendly and polite. Will go again.

First time here. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, it was very busy with one in and one out. Interesting to see a cafe with no wifi availability and banning laptops. Tbf, I never seen that rule before in all the cafes I have been to. We had a light lunch there and were impressed by the choice and vegan options. We had sour dough toast with mashed avocado which was delicious. Great to see sour dough bread on the menu. As it was so busy, the waitress did suggest the pub next door, ran by the same company but it just didn't have the same light airy or cosy atmosphere as here so glad a seat became available for us. Would return to try other dishes and cakes. Only slight criticism about the food and drink was the toast was very hard and the chai latte was very sweet as it was a powder form. It was made really well but we didn't have an option of making it less sweet.Vegetarian options: Great to see vegan friendly margarine used

First glance it looked a lovely little cafe. Arranged to meet colleagues there prior to a meeting to go through the presentation, ordered a coffee and a pastry sat down waiting for them. Opened my laptop only to be told laptops are not allowed. If there was a sign at the till stating that I wouldn’t have ordered. There was only a small handwritten sign on one of the walls someone was sitting in front of it. I understand keeping off phones but laptops?

I heard about this little place from a friend of mine. My friend & I visited for lunch. We so enjoyed our sourdough toasties & great coffee. The menu is simple, but well presented & even more beautifully served by the delightful young ladies working there. Thank you ladies ?.

Love to support independents. Looks lovely from outside on a rainy day. Inside good too, tables need cleaning though. Food was pretty good. Tomato soup sour dough currant T cake was the best i’ve had. Service was slow and the lady serving with curly hair looked pretty disinterested and all 3 of us commented how unfriendly the welcome was… such a shame

Very lovely minimalist coffee shop in Wantage town centre. It's simple, it's quiet, and it's comfy. They have signs posted stating no laptops. The food is delicious. The coffee tasty. The prices are good. And it's in the pedestrian area. Go check it out and support local small businesses.

The vegan 'sausage' roll (£4.50) is my go-to brunch snack with a £2.80 flat white. Tasty and good value for money, with friendly service and an overall great vibe. The nicest coffee spot in the 'West End' (of Wantage ;).Edit: As a regular customer I fully support the 'no laptops' rule (but obviously don't support any rudeness). Staff cannot be expected to somehow police those working on laptops/tablets and those just browsing the internet. So maybe just adhere to the polite request and take 15 minutes enjoying your coffee offline? It's doubly good for you ?

A warm welcome greeted us when we arrived, we were shown the menu hung on the wall on a roll of brown paper. We ordered a couple of toasties on soda bread and a vegetable type of roll all of which were delicious, as avid Rooibos tea drinkers we commented on the quality one which was served in individual tea pots.We loved that laptops aren’t allowed, people were talking instead. Were we to find ourselves in Wantage again we know where we’d have our lunch.

Staff were friendly, but the service was very slow, and the food was really overpriced for what it was. Very limited selection and only sourdough bread. The coffee was awful, it was actually undrinkable. Worst coffee I've ever bought. Tea cake arrived burnt. Vibe inside wasn't great, with a passive aggressive sign on the wall asking you not to use a laptop. I don't even have a laptop, but it left me feeling put off. Not somewhere I'm eager to visit again.
