We where created with a friendly smile and manner nothing was to much for everyone it was our sons birthday and they helped to make it special the food was lovely and we where'd told at the beginning we may have to wait a big god our meal but that was fine and it was well worth the small wait it wasn't long to wait we had a lovely time thank you

Food took best part of an hour to arrive and wasn't worth the wait. Dry chicken, cold chips and beans, orders wrong, looked thrown on the plate. Took far too long for table to be cleared after for desert which also waa a huge disappointment, cold custard in a pot that broke in 3 when picked up!!! Large order came out in dribs n drabs making eating together impossible. Staff polite, but clearly struggling. Great bar staff but food can be pretty average. Nachos had a serious lack of cheese and a recent curry came with chilli crackers rather than prawn cracker style chips. Makes you feel sorry for the bar staff who are always great.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Cameron took my pre-order by email and kindly had the meals ready upon our arrival. All 7 meals were finished in their totality, which is testiment to its quality and taste. There were positive comments from everyone and we all agreed to come back at the soonest opportunity. Thank you all!

They never, ever get this pub right. Every time there are new managers/owners, it starts well then slips back again. I have rated the food 2 stars but as we didn't actually receive our meals I have based that on a previous visit. The pub is in an ideal location to maximise on trade, it is round the corner from us and opposite an MOD defence academy (they do 't do discount for MOD!) but we will not be going again. Maybe when another set of new managers are installed we will try!
