Great place to have a hot chocolate and a coffee, a great carrot cake, and a great service, but unfortunately, it's too late to have it inside . Perhaps next time, I will put 5 starts,

Dreadful, and has been for years. Definitely don’t visit with a baby or child, they don’t provide high chairs and the wait for a simple panini on a quiet day was ludicrously long. The staff couldn’t care less about customer service. Don’t bother! So many other sandwich places in Woodstock.

Man running the store very rude and did not acknowledge me whatsoever while waiting 10 minutes to order. Other people came in and a huge queue formed while 6 staff wandered around looking bewildered. When I tried to tell the man I had been waiting and ignored, and then others served before me he told me that was my issue and was very dismissive. There is absolutely no attempt to guide a queue and it is simply chaos. Heard lots of negative things about here recently and unfortunately it would appear the recent reviews are correct. Won’t be returning.

We popped in for soup coffee and cake yesterday afternoon with our newborn baby. Beautiful atmosphere. The soup and cakes were wonderful and service was fantastic. Highly recommend. Such lovely food.

Hampers have always been an overpriced place but at least the quality of the food was justified! I picked up just yesterday an overpriced at least one day old Greek salad straight from the fridge! Awful.Also, your staff is slow and hard to speak too, on the top of that they sold me a cruffin telling me its caramel, but it was mince pie flavour!Very sorry, but the place is no longer worth it ...

We had an awful experience at Hampers. The coffee was so weak as to be undrinkable, the hot chocolates also lacking taste. The lemon cake was flavoured with artificial flavouring. We had to wait to be served and then one drink had been forgotten. Don’t bother!

Popped in with my son and his family for a warm sausage roll on a cold afternoon for all 6 of us. The middle aged gentleman working there totally ignored us, didn’t even look at us, we where the only ones in the shop as it was near closing time. We where in the shop for a few minutes then left without any acknowledgment at all. We felt we where an inconvenience, so we left. Such a shame as the food is very good. We wont be returning.

We love Hampers! Great food, great coffee and lovely gourmet treats. There can be a short queue at times due to the popularity of the food, but staff handle each and every customer impeccably and efficiently. Well done Hampers, our local go-to!

We have been coming to hampers for years for our morning coffee and walk, the service is just getting worse and worse, this morning we waited 15 mins with no communication from the staff at all, only to be told someone will get to you shortly when asking one of the staff. Most of the staff seemed to be putting good signs out, making up baguettes or collecting sausage rolls from the back, there was one person on the coffee machine who didn’t seem to be too confident with how to use it. It’s seems that no prep work had been done before opening and they were turning away paying customers to continue to make up baguettes just crazy!Someone who can run the shop efficiently needs to be there at the weeks to make sure customers don’t walk out due to the lack of service.There was a number people that left due to the lack of information or communication, all it needed was as soon as you come in was someone to say “ we have a 20 min wait” or we aren’t taking ordered as we need to set the shop up. Very port planning.

It’s gone down hill since being brought out, poor service, poor communication, poor management. We were ignored for 15 mins while trying to order a coffee today only to be told they had a back log, looked at the coffee machine 2 tickets up. This used to be a great place for coffee but so slow and service very poor.

Surprised to see poor reviews. Went twice while visiting the area. The staff were very friendly and quick to make coffee/baguettes even with a big queue on a Sunday. Lots of tables too on the side. Great prices, I'd definitely go back.
