Great Italian food, good wine list, substantial portions and good service. Dessert also excellent. Cozy spot for a rainy evening, and limoncello on the house as digestivo. Recommended. Also listed as Apertivo. Touted as '40s decor, well, there are gestures in that direction, but only just. Still, manages to be somewhat intimate despite the contemporary floorplan.Vegetarian options: I merely noted that they were there, in case I someday return with my daughter.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in-out for wheelchair users.

The loveliest little restaurant with attentive staff, pretty decor, and delicious Italian food. The lunch/pre-theatre menu is brilliant value for money.Vegetarian options: Separate vegan menu available on request.

First time dining here and we will definitely be back. Atmosphere/decor of the restaurant is lovely, the staff are super polite and make you feel comfortable straight away, and the food was amazing. Such good pricing for how great the food and portions were. Highly

This was our first time at Al Fresco and we’ll definitely be back again. The staff were so welcoming as we entered the restaurant, and each dish that we had was so tasty.Kris our waiter was so very friendly and helpful. We’ve been to other Italian restaurants in Aberdeen before but this one is now top of our list.

Have visited several times and always been impressed by the quality of food, fair pricing, and pleasant staff. Most recent visit was on hogmanay - we were provided with a free round of drinks to compensate for the slightly slow service (which was easily forgivable on such a busy occasion).
Always a pleasure to eat there, it’s beautiful and

A wee while since last in but as usual this restaurant never fails to deliver. My friends and I visited at lunchtime and opted for the lunchtime menu, which at under £17 for 3 courses is excellent value and has a fair selection of dishes. Despite being very busy, service was quick, efficient and friendly. They don't insult you with portion size and quality. The pork dish was cooked perfectly and tasty. Homemade Tiramisu is a great alternative to the usual frozen options you get in most restaurants. Our wine was a light fruity Italian red and probably cost about the average at today's prices. All in all, it was a very enjoyable lunch.

Came to this place for the first time while visiting family, my cousin Elizabeth is a regular here and it did not disappoint. From the unique decor to the staff. The food is absolutely stunning and paired perfectly with the wine of your choice. Robbie is second to none within this establishment, nothing is too much for this very handsome guy always a smile on his face and forever working around the room making all customers feel like friends , I would go as far to say that he should be promoted to general manager ❤️ I can't wait to return to this wonderful little slice of Italy ❤️ xxx

We arrived in Aberdeen after a long drive through flooded roads and were looking for somewhere to eat. We found Al Fresco and I can honestly say that we were given probably the warmest welcome we have ever received! Although the restaurant was busy, we were shown to a table for 2 and the service and food was great! The specials Board was explained in detail. And good humour! We had 2 courses and a few drinks and every member of staff was lovely! Food was excellent too! And a couple of complimentary Limoncellos to follow! Perhaps I was tired and emotional after a long and difficult journey but I rarely add reviews to Tripadvisor these days but this restaurant deserves a review. I urge you to try it - we have eaten in many restaurants all over Europe but this one stands out as one of the best.
