Love nipping in here for a Tea and cake whenever I'm in the area, the staff are always friendly even when it is really busy and I've never had a bad experience!

I had the lemon drop martini and Italian espresso martini. My partner had two classic espresso martini's. Thoroughly happy with the quality and service. Could not recommend more highly.

The people in Common Sense totally made our Hogmanay! What a party - who needs fireworks when you have the best staff and customers in the world making their own. ❤️

Lovely place in the centre of Aberdeen near HMT overlooking Union Terrace Gardens where you can find great coffees. Had yummy avocado toast with tasty bacon and tea for lunch. A bit disappointed that tea came in a mug with teabag. As the British love their cup of tea, it should be served in a teapot with tea leaves.

What a lovely welcome! Enjoyed the drinks and a bread and olive platter. Wine as suggested by our server was delicious. Pity they’re only open until 7pm.

It’s a lovely chilled place with a very attentive waitress. Who saw me standing up to place our order and she came over to serve us.

Booked a table during Aberdeen cocktail week for some great cocktails and cheese/charcuterie board. The range of martini and espresso martinis is great and amazing value. Four of us tried most of them and a couple of glasses of their wine. All wines the same price per glass, all tasted great. Lovely evening, good staff and we all liked the vibe!! Def coming back for an afternoon of games, food and tipples!

Lovely brunch/lunch. We had tasty brie and ham sourdough toastie, a yummy chorizo and cream cheese panini, vegan sausage in a bap and some lovely bowls of soup. All washed down with some coffees and mint tea. Just enough room for a tasty cheesecake brownie and an apple and cinnamon scone. Table service was good and the space is cosy with great views around the terrace. Spot on and great value!Kid-friendliness: Loads of games and books to keep kids occupied.

The Story Behind Studio

We were really thinking a long time if we should write this review or not.Visited on Tuesday for takeaway hot chocolate. 2 tables inside, 2 outside. 2 girls & 1 guy behind the bar and a lady in front of the bar (owner?), the way the 2 (the guy and the woman) talk to the girl behind the bar left me disgusted. Been there a 3rd time as we do not judge after a first experience. Not sure how you can call yourself a coffee house if coffee (from 2 visits) is bad (taste preference? Maybe), milk oversteamed. If you need someone to give your team a coffee training hit me up.Such a nice location, could do much better than this. If you are planning leave, message me.Pure sadness, to comment on the hot chocolate - watery.

Sat outside in the sunshine. Pot of tea and scone. Both delicious. Great friendly service and good value for money. Always served with a smile.♥️

Poor service. Staff were just chatting to each other and not keeping an eye on customer. Waited 15 mins for Avocado on Toast - not offered any salt or pepper. Not clear whether to order at counter or at table. People were asking for paninis but very limited selection available at 12.15 pm. Needs a rethink and a good manager.
