Shocking service!!! Spoke to two men that were serving and they really had no idea what I was talking about. I bought two lights after asking the guy if they did a specific thing (even checked the computer) to find out when I got home they never do had to take them back. I then also asked about some other stock items such as the LED strip lighting and they just had no idea how to answer what I was asking them. It was very obvious they never knew as well. I got told I would get 30% discount on one of the lights cause they were on the shop floor being used and also had my student card which was a further 5% off but somehow it only amounted to £5 off when it was £140 bill??!! Hmmmmm!!! Queried that as well and nothing!

Staff are friendly & always helpful-this probably earned them extra star, good range, great parking available, but maybe best to ask about product if buying cheapest things. Not shop's fault, more maplin's. Had to return a few items because quality was just not up to anything, no problems in getting refunded or getting swap when was available. Stocking something cheap and cheerful is fine but better stock sampling within this price range recommended. Don't get me wrong some are good but I always ask now.
