We had a lovely Mother's Day lunch today. A lovely lady called Marta was our server and her service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very polite and attentive. A real credit to Mill of Mundurno.

Went for a Sunday morning buffet breakfast. Food was very tasty, restaurant was clean and the staff were very helpful. Will happily be back?

Got told this morning that you don't have the facility to do a hard boiled egg! When I questioned her she replied we don't have a pan ?. What a joke. The menu clearly shows you do boiled eggs. Out of the all the hotels I've ever stayed in up and down the country, which I'll add i stay in 1 to 2 every week. This is the only one that doesn't have a pan. Saw the chef and asked him if he has any pans and he said am sorry she had just started doing breakfasts, but again this was a lie, Very poor service and poor lies!!Complained directly to manager later that day as it really did get my backup, she was very understanding and apologised.

My family and I went out for dinner to meet my brothers girlfriend for the first time, was really lovely meeting her just such a shame we came here. There was 9 of us and we were seated in a little nook away from other diners which was nice, but that’s pretty much where the good points end. The service was painfully slow which was odd because the restaurant was pretty dead, we felt forgotten about quite a bit. The starters were so boring and uninteresting, no garnish or colour at all. I had the battered cauliflower bites which were pretty bland but they came with a piri piri sauce so i thought it would liven it up but it was so hot I couldn’t eat it, I know piri piri is spicy but this was ridiculous and I like spice. I ended up using my boyfriend’s BBQ sauce from his breaded mushrooms, which were so over done he couldn’t put a fork through them. It was such a long wait between the starters and mains that we were all starving again by the time they came, which were almost all either disgusting or a disaster. Everyone’s chips were cold for a start and most people’s whole course was cold. My smothered platter looked decent but the cheese on the chicken goujons was plastic-y and tasteless so I took it off the chicken and then found a hair underneath it. I sent it back for that alone but upon further inspection my gammon was stone cold and so were the chips. The waitress was really good about my complaints and taking my food back to get it remade. My boyfriend’s chicken was bone dry and cold, the ribs to go with it were overdone so much that he struggled to eat them. My dad had the fajita burger and for some strange reason they just put half an avocado in the burger??? I love avocado and even I thought it looked unappealing and lazy. We got fresh chips for the table as well which was good but when I got mine back in such a short time and piping hot we wondered how it was so difficult to do that the first time? Didn’t want to complain again but when I got it back the steak was well done when it was supposed to be medium rare but I was too hungry to care at that point. Honestly whoever’s in charge of the food there needs to give their head a wobble, such a disappointing meal with nothing interesting about it with so many issues I wish we’d never bothered. The waitress very kindly gave us money off so that’s a plus but discount or not I would’ve rather spent my money elsewhere and avoided a very disappointing meal.

My fourth and undoubtedly final visit to TABLE TABLE MILL OF MUNDURNO in Aberdeen this Christmas was a profound disappointment. Each visit has been less impressive than the last, and this experience was particularly disheartening. The food was deeply unsatisfactory. The starters resembled something akin to children’s cooking: basic, unimaginative, and lacking in any culinary creativity. The main course continued this trend, being overcooked, flavorless, and quite frankly, awful. It’s disconcerting to witness such disregard for quality, especially during a festive season.Even the desserts, which one usually looks forward to, were a letdown. Far from the sweet, indulgent experience one expects, they were bland and lacked the basic essence of what makes a dessert enjoyable.Adding to the culinary disappointment was the subpar service. The staff, especially the Manager, seemed uninterested in their roles, showing a dismaying lack of enthusiasm and concern for customer satisfaction. This apathy was evident in every aspect of the service we received.Given this experience, I regretfully advise others to avoid this establishment. Aberdeen boasts many other dining venues where the quality of both food and service far exceeds what is offered at TABLE TABLE MILL OF MUNDURNO.
