The muffins here used to be really good, it's why I came today. But now they're different really sugary, small and yucky. Like below average muffins or sugar sweets. Disappointed in the decline hence the low rating.

I came in with my family and it was a little bit busy, we had ordered a couple of drinks and some of them were blended and it was taking a few minutes and I realised we had less time til our bus then I thought, but still had a wee bit of time so i asked if I could pay for our drinks as we have a bus to catch soon and the lady snapped and she told me I didn't ask for take away, I didn't want to rush her but we had been waiting about 5 minutes and just wanted to sit down before we caught our bus. I understand it was busy I don't want to be rude, I just want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else as its an unpleasant experience.

Ate at the Muffin Break in union Square this morning.Had delicious bacon and egg roll..roll was toasted egg lovely runny yolk and tasty bacon. The large flat white was piping hot and one of the best I've tasted in Aberdeen . Also had a fruit scone with butter and jam....it wad still warm from being freshly baked on site.Decorated beautifully for Christmas ? staff friendly.Highly recommended ?

These days when I arrive into Aberdeen Railway Station I make for Muffin Break in Union Square. It is a busy little cafe and I sometimes think they do not have enough staff for the volume of customers. My favourite is Chai Latte with cinnamon. I like this cafe as it is always busy and the staff are very nice even under quite a bit of pressure.

Speed of service depends on the staff working at the time of your visit. But the food and drinks are good. Tables are most often clean and almost always available.

We had a great catch up over afternoon tea at Muffin Break. The sandwiches were well filled with a good range of fillings. The cakes were plentiful and varied too. Once served, we got free refills on our drinks. The staff from taking the telephone booking to serving were polite and friendly. At 12.50 a head it was great value.

Lovely high tea. Great selection of sandwiches and cakes. Too much even for the 2 of us, but staff boxed up for us to take home. Very friendly

This place served the best coffee I have ever had! I've been trying to buy their beans online but they only come up in US dollars.

Very disappointed. The food was fine, but the service was atrocious. The guy serving was so rude from the beginning; seemed annoyed when we wanted to check the menu first before ordering, incredibly abrupt when advising and responding, slammed our drinks down, and was generally unpleasant throughout. While we were seated, he occasionally gave us dirty looks and we did not see him smile once throughout the whole visit. Not sure if he was having a bad day or he is always like this, as he did seem off with the other customers too. The other staff were lovely however. It is a shame he spoiled our visit despite us being nothing but polite. This made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome throughout. Unfortunately, we left early and we will be unlikely to return.
